| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Competition where the girls fight in teams of two. Ichiroku finds out she is with Eru and gets on her case because of her reliability issues in combat. Ichiroku is especially fired up because she's going against derivatives of the AK-47 (AK's went up against M16's in Vietnam and later). Eru runs out on her and leaves Ichiroku to fight alone. |

And I know that the L85 is a defective model, but that was still cold of Ichiroku to call Eru a "dud" like that without any regards to her feelings. I feel really sorry for Eru. |

Maybe it's the pressure of the competion and her desire to beat the fake AKs that's getting to her. Whatever the case she owes Eru an apology. Those rival fakes need a good thrashing too. Yeah they do, but part of me wants them to give Ichiroku a good beating for what she did to Eru. |
| The AK versus M16 battle has been going on for a long time and there pretty much the most famous weapons out there. I heard ones that almost 50% of all automatic weapons where AK's or AK based. There cheaper to make then most Western weapons and there very reliable and work under almost all circumstances not to mention that there are pretty light as well. I also heard that the West has been trying to make similar weapons for a long time. The Russians where pretty strict when it came to picking there standard weapons each weapon had to meet strict requirements and eventually compete against each other in a number of trials. The one that came out victorious was the best weapon and was selected as standard weapon for the Russian army several weapons where picked this way for different tasks such as the AK as there standard assault riffle and the Dragunov as there standard sniper riffle. I don't know anything about the way the US selected there weapons tho. And my knowledge about the M16 lacks as well. |

| Will we get to see the M416 and the AK-74M? Those WERE my favorites in BF3. Well, the G3A3 is my waifu and so is the L85A2. I wonder will L85 ever get upgraded to A2 ? She is such crap right now lol. Besides seeing all of these awesome super sexy guns how about some launchers? M320 and FGM-148 Javelin anyone? :D |

| Sucks L85 is a bad gun. I don't like the fact Eru is taking it hard (failing classes, breaking easily, etc.) even if she is a faulty gun. And I already saw my guns I mostly use from the COD series: M16A4 and Galil. I wanna see how this matchup goes seeing that they look like very, very aggressive rivals ;). |

I don't get why some peeps continue to watch/follow a show they don't like, then proceed to ask why OTHER people like it. One shouldn't have to explain why they are a fan of something. One just....is. I dropped one or two shows last season and I did not feel the need to go to fans of that series and ask, "Why are you still watching this?" I already knew the answer; they enjoy it. Also, the girls are fucking adorable. I like watching cute girls doing cute things. ^__^ |

Ok, I guess some weapon facts should be in order, first of all the AK does have some derivatives in the Galil AR and SAKO RK95, this is because countries like Israel and Finland are after the reliability of the AK and yet they also wanted the accuracy of the M16. So they copied the Soviet Kalashnikov design of the AK and modified it to used a NATO 5.56mm round. The Israeli Galil AR was put it into limited production, so, the Israel Defense Force where instead issued with the M16 series as their standard issue rifle. Most countries aligned with the US has their own M16 derivatives which where pattered after the said weapon i.e Canada has their "C" variants , Korea has the "K" variants and Taiwan has the "T" variant. In 1974 the Soviets also develop the AK74 which also uses the same 5.56mm NATO round. The the powder used in an M16 round is cordite which is smokeless and leaves no residue which would contribute to the weapon's jamming. America lost the Vietnam War primarily because of mounting political protest from it's own people. Which can be blamed on the weapons they where using in the opinion of some. There was also the question why America was there in the first place since that war started out as a colonial war against France. The AK 47 main disadvantage was like you mentioned it's accuracy Kalashnikov who was a war veteran noted that most fighting took place within 300 meters and made the gun so it was effective within 300 meters. The AK 74 was probably modified from more accuracy because the 300 meter rule was outdated and more accuracy does give you a advantage in battle. Also the original bullets that where used by the Russians where bigger that the standard Nato rounds which means the AK 74 can carry more bullets then it's predecessor. |

| This anime is relatively enjoyable for me... The only problem is that at this point I have to shut down 80% of my brain to not notice the obvious holes in plot sequencing and weird cuts. And overclock my other 20% to connect broken scenes... Oh well, I learned something today too.. So it pays off nicely :) |

| Rk 95 is actually 7.62 mm... Don't know why they'd make such an obvious mistake. I'm currently in Finnish conscript service but using an Rk 62 instead of a 95 ;_; |
