Of course friendship would have to save the day again (I facepalmed at the ending). Hell, I rather have had the effects be temporary for like a few hours than have Natsu randomly remember Lucy and tell everyone in the guild about her.
For the most part, this filler was a lot better than last week, but it fell flat once everyone started found out Lucy was invisible and tried to make her noticeable.
I don't know why Happy always has to play the whole boyfriend card with Lucy and make her feel like she's unattractive. In fact, he started to make the whole guild think of her that way when they starting saying she had a savage personality.
I personally would love to date Lucy if she were real.
Nice episode. Way better then last, which got pulled down by that gangs appearance.
It wasn't that bad for Natsu remembering her because of that habit, it started all with them breaking into her house, and her wanting to take a nice bath instead of going on the job. I agree though that if it wouldn't close the circle that neatly it wouldn't be all that good as a reason.
And why everyones thinking of Lucy as a savage personality..sure, she can be harsh, but thats when they mess around with stuff she told them not to, like, her writings.
And what about Erza then? While she endured the first three hits, the fourth was enough for her to join the fight and taking out down the whole guild instead of lecturing on about "maturing". Also, Erza was the only one of the girls to join.
Maybe Juvia would have "protected" Gray if she would have been there though :P (which is kinda interesting - what was she doing? And Lisanna? Evergreen wasn't there, either, i think. Gildarts, Gajeel and Makarov neither. Probably some more. Would be nice for this detail to be "important" later).
Oh, and i think the kids didn't feel Lucy up that much, she didn't complain about the touching itself, just that it tickled, so maybe her belly and back?. It's a different thing with Natsu though, she slapped him quite hard considering the mark it left..
What was with the "erasing her entire existence" crap? It was an ointment she made when she was around 12, not some all powerful spell. >_< I thought it gaining in potency over the years was fine, but to the extent of erasing her stuff and people's memories of her? *shakes head* Oh, well, it was filler.
And the end was touching with Natsu remembering her and her coming back... until the stuff spilled all over. I think it would have ended better without everyone getting caught up in it. They seem to like to do that, with everyone running afoul of whatever strange twist has befallen the main group, and then never resolving it, or rather, resolving it between episodes.
And the line that it would take a wild man to be Lucy's boyfriend. *lol* Who does that sound like? Heehee. And, of course it would be Natsu who remembered her. Someone was shipping when they wrote this filler. :3 Not that I'm complaining.
Much better filler than 126, but then again no episode can go wrong with a guild brawl. As long as the rest of the filler is at least this good I won't have a problem. This was funny and entertaining. I liked the ending, it seemed very Fairy Tail to me.
I really enjoyed this episode, although I agree that, like the body switching episode, it wasn't resolved right, especially for a predicament that would have meant a huge struggle for the existence of Fairy Tail if it was part of the main storyline. The producers still haven't caught on to how a temporary gag ending should be (i.e. something that's obviously temporary and wouldn't have major repercussions).
I love how Natsu blushed when he mentioned keeping her invisible. I'm pretty sure Natsu is dense on purpose to keep things from getting awkward, especially with the whole love triangle with Lisanna.
Also, Elfman's comment XDDD I immediately thought of Natsu too.
This episode was funny. I liked it. I just wish they would have shown the full effects of Lucy's non-existence ex. Phantom Lord (I think that's the guilds name) attacking Fairy Tail because they wanted to kidnap Lucy.
If you want me to see something, or reply to something, quote me. I hardly ever check back to topics I've posted in.
I REALLY liked this episode. It was hilarious right from the get-go, with Lucy's voice impersonating characters in her story and Happy maniacally laughing. Other than the humor, what I loved was that this episode took every single opportunity it could and nailed them.
They got every single invisibility trope down. Being embarrassed about suddenly appearing naked in public? Check. Messing with people? Check. Trying not to be touched? Check. Doing what you've always wanted to do in public? Check. Overhearing everything people secretly don't like about you? Check. Almost not existing? Check. They even did some things that I've never seen before, like painting her in a bunch of different ways, from a Picasso to a version of themself to having black hair. The only thing they missed was being a pervert, but I'm pretty sure Lucy doesn't roll that way.
I particularly liked the painting scene because it showed artistic genius in having Lucy in as many ways as possible. This was done way better than the fucking Jiggle Butt Gang, where their genius was limited to having butts in every possible position and ugly faces.
I watched this episode in the dub. Was I the only one that noticed Elfman say "She has got you SO wet!" upon Lucy entering? Also, I personally thought it is kinda funny to remember this episode as "the episode where Lucy gets unknowingly (by the kids) gangr*ped by a bunch of little kids while being invisible".
EDIT: Oh yeah, a lot of people have been complaining about the ending. I just think of these kinds of endings as a reference to the fact that this is fictional so it doesn't matter what happens in the end because everything will be back to the way it will be in the next episode, especially since it's a filler.
