First Murder and Gore, Then Sexual Child Abuse, Now animal Torture and Murder... I have said it before, this series is effecting me so much. Its hard to even continue on...Im probly a wuss compared to most people but...yeah these series is good...but damn. |

| agreed... Sandy and I are watching this together... and the emotions it's stirring up... I've been shocked, saddened, and filled with hatred... I've cried... I've laughed... I've gasped in surprise... no end to the emotional roller coaster this series has got me on... but I must keep watching... I need to know how it all ends... As of now, this series is getting a 10/10 from me, but like Sandy said, I'll never watch this again. =/ |

| I knew that scene was coming, I knew what they'd do, but yet when the scene came, It still managed to cling to my emotions inside. OMG.... it's just... I really like this show, but, I also doubt I'll rewatch a few episodes of it. This scene being one of them. |
| Man, the dog's death left me speechless. At least it only got hit once in the manga. x_x This scene went too far in my opinion. I'm glad Lucy's past didn't just suddenly start at the beginning of the episode. I can't get enough of Nana either. She's my fav. That female professor bled quite a lot from a single bullet wound in the shoulder. 0_0 |

| I think Chapter 60. At the moment though I still haven't finished the anime or reached Chapter 60 of the manga, but one thing's for sure; the manga is infinitely better. |

| how do I put this... yes I too wanted those kids to die when they killed the dog, however they seem to be around 9-10 years old. i'm not sure that they deserve to die for their horrible actions. maybe i'm being to realistic for an anime series. in real life i would want them to go to ridiculous amounts of therapy and definitely 'juvi', but in they fictional anime world they needed to die. shit. |

| Lucy introduces an interesting way to deal with bullies, by exploding them O_O The dog scene was so depressing, I agree with you guys about not watching again, but i still think it's great, even though it is so violent and deals with child abuse and animal abuse. |

| Man the dog part got me angry. By looking into Lucy's past no one can just call her a cold hearted killer anymore. Humans like those little boys have made her into what she is in her future self, so I think its pretty natural for her to seek revenge. |

| Those boys filled me with hatred. I was screaming in my head "KILL THEM KILL THEM!" I dont think i've ever felt that way before. I wasnt satified with how quickly they died though, it needed to be slow and painful. Make regret being born. i.am.angry. |

| When I saw what happened to the dog I felt sick. I couldn't believe it. I don't know what it is but if it was a person being beaten up I wouldn't care but the fact it was the dog made me feel angry and pyschically sick. |

But then again I'm mad that it's because of puppy torture & murder. Come on, honestly, there's nobody who wouldn't be affected by this and that is exactly what's getting on my nerves. Any show could use such horrid animal killing and everybody would be touched. So - no big deal. All of this is too overkill-ish for me, but in a clumsy way. Lucy being bullied by kids in her childhood? I'm surprised!...not. Children beating a dog to death? Seriously, all the "bad people" are real epitomes of hatred and violence in this show, purely evil so that the audience HAS to loathe them. That's so tiring. But I still think it's worth to keep watching it, so we'll see. Maybe the end will make up for all of that to me. |

| Wow, just wow. Glad Lucy didn't rip Nana's head off at the beginning. I'm still holding out hope that they'll be friends at the end :P . Glad to hear Nyuu seems to speak okay on her own now. This is a rough anime, Im handling better because Im older, I think. I wouldn't recommend for anyone under 18. No tears, just shock & horror. Poor puppy but damn I wanted to beat them kids too. Where were the adults when all this was happening? |

I'm kind of confused, was it Lucy or Nana who saw the torturing of the puppy?? Anyways, I'm waiting to see Diclonius Number 35. Interesting, I wonder how many dicloni are held captive anyways. Also I almost had to look away when they were killing the dog. I realized it was coming about 2 min before they did it because of Llama_Guy's review on Elfen Lied: " Just remember that it doesn't have the R+ rating for no reason - events ranging from a man watching his naked daughter ~~~~~to a dog being bludgeoned to death with a vase~~~~~ and live dismemberment takes place." - Quote Llama_Guy I liked the episode because it was very emotional. I loved it when Nana/Lucy?? made the evil bullies explode. They exploded. :) Edit: Nevermind, I get it now: It was Lucy as a child. |
