| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- It is a good manga just cause it does dwell into that twisted part of people. It also is probably worse for a Japanese kid who is exposed to European angst cause their society is much more reserved than the writers of the books he is reading, I mean he is reading French existentialist lit and he is in a place that wants everyone to conform to a societal norm whereas in America or Europe there is a lot more freedom of personal expression, people strive to "stand out" rather than being ostracized for it, so coming from an American viewpoint it probably reads a lot differently... |
