Ahh man. Episodes are getting lamer and lamer. I guess fillers do exists in a 24 episode series.

Now theyre just making Satou stupider and stupider. Why the hell is this even a 24 episode series?

I rather watch a 13 episode straight storyline series than this 24 episode of random filler. Poorly executed IMO.

'THIRTY MINUTES?? BY FOOT??" I had to watch that part over. Hilarious.

Satou, satou. A suicide meeting, online gaming, & now multi-level marketing. Why can't you be a good hikikomori and stay in your room and out of trouble?

So I just had a hot female aquantience who I haven't spoken to in years contact me out of the blue. She wanted to talk to me. We had a wonderful conversation where she was more than generous with the compliments and flattery. Three guesses what she invited me to at the end of the call. First two don't count.

Out of all the anime in the world why the fuck does my life have to take after THIS one?

OTL Although I did think it was a good episode, things the pres said did ring true, sadly enough or not lol. Have heard so much about those market level thingies ... ahh, Satou XD
I would probably feel the same as him during that meeting ... WTF was with that guy starting the clapping?! O_O Lol seriously ... weird stuff man O_O

The circumstance Sato dug himself into would have generated more sympathy from me if he wasn't so damn stupid to fall for it after he already realized it was a ponzi/pyramid scheme.

So far his only skill seems to be self-denial (understandable) and throwing good money after bad (i.e. in game gold mining or pyramids).

Underestimate not, the persuasive power of a woman's tears.
Interesting how they've moved from specific problems of youth such as suicides, gaming addictions, and loans; to a more "corruption of society" sort of message.

Well, except for the backsliding, of course. Poor Satou is so easily influenced by the last person he's spoken to. :(

I can't believe Yamazaki and Misaki got drawn in, too, though. That was the first thing to make me laugh this entire arc.

I can't believe there's filler arcs like this (and Suicide Arc) in a 24-episode series. That just shouldn't happen and it's easily taken the series from a 9, down to a 7 or an 8 at most.

Too bad, it was such a great series at one point!

I am really loving this anime. However I am getting pissed that Sato sees that Misaki must have been abused at some point in her life and he doesn't give a shit or too dumb to put it together. I get a feeling I know how this will all end and I am not sure how I will feel about it.

Just when you think it can't get any worse for Satou.

It gets worse.

Also, I like how Yamazaki is voiced by Shinpachi's (Gintama) actor, and the characters look alike.

I kind of wish they didn't go this route. I know they're trying to show how he just goes with the flow and starts to believe others immediately (take the suicide arc for another example) but the fact that he figured it out before and still did it is kind of annoying. I hope they can make something good come out of this.

I haven't mentioned it yet but I really like this second ED.

At first, I was like ''ahh, he was smart enough to not get trap'' and then... -.-

Pyramidal scheme are the worst. They act like guru.

It's sad that that girl got so low that she have to manipulate even her old acquaintance...

This episode really smacked me upside the head but good.. 11:50 into the episode is right out of my life in 1972! They even did the same product demonstration that my direct distributor in Amway taught me to do--the one with mixing 'our' detergent in water and 'the competition's' detergent.. It was Amway vs. Shacklee, all over again! The writers must have been living in the US and been involved in Amway at one point in their lives. So incredible that I'd see this--the LAST thing I'd expect to see in an anime series!!

For anyone that's been involved or got sucked into an MLM pyramid scheme by a friend or co-worker, this episode 'speaks' to you. In the beginning, I found it hard to watch this series, but it's gotten so clever with so many aspects. The humor is bizarro world, but it does have its moments of profound meaning.

And what's up with that Misaki? WHO the heck IS she?? Talk about an enigma! I'm starting to think she suffers some weird psychological problems and her "sessions" are her way of projecting her own problems onto someone else. What a shame, because it's starting to look like she really cares for Sato. I sense a troubling relationship brewing here.

For me, this is a series I want to hate, but I end up having to admit it's pretty darned good. Anime is alive and well in the 21st Century.

This guy really is pathetic. Being so easily manipulated by everyone and treating people who want to help you like trash. This will probably end well seeing what kind of show this is but if he was a real person i don't think there would be any hope for him. The imaginated future of his from the episode before would be most probable. It's not about being unemployed and doing absolutely nothing, it's about not dreaming about anything and being so blind as not to grab the helping hand that has been reached out for you.

I'm on my second watching of this series and I'm noticing a lot that I missed on the first go -round. What's becoming apparent is that Misaki is a decent, compassionate person and Sato is so wrapped up in his conspiracy theories that he can't or won't trust her, on top of the fact that he defers to his school buddy next door for 'truth' opinions. Pathetic. Misaki is amazing. When he presents her with a situation she's not knowledgeable on, she goes to a book store, buys the related books, goes home and spends the evening studying to topic so that she can render useful advise to him the next day. She brings him nutritious meals, cares about him, does many things that demonstrate that she's not the evil one, but yet he's too dense to get it.

I used to think he should hook up with his sempai, Hitomi, but she's too negative and she's a junkie, as evidenced by her multiple doctors and prescription psychotropic drugs that she uses. But Misaki would make the better life partner. Sato's not a bad person either. He's just too paranoid to know how to see the reality of his situation. We can see from time to time, that he's concerned about other people and does not lack empathy. Certainly what he did at the Off Meeting stands in his favor. He needs to start realizing that there is a lady who cares about him, genuinely and to respond to that with a little more trust. Gosh, what a nice person Misaki is! She may be blunt at times, but her heart is in the right place.

Weill it's not really a matter of smart or stupid..
Satou knew about it.. but still fell for it because he was mentally unstable.
The frustrating thing for me is how all of his acquaintances have stone for a heart.
Everyone is just using his condition against him.. how sad.
