| I would buy that manga tbh. It was realistic imo and presented well especially with that fitting music in the background. I'm not too story on the overall plot but those two came up with some good ideas. It's just a shame what was said in the end there..oh well. Also, dat Miho resemblance:  |

| Ooooooouuuuuch... Somehow, I expected that. The episode title wasn't so optimistic. That's a sweet christmas gift... It's sad because I really liked the concept, it could have been leaded in many ways. I hope they don't throw away that idea. I don't think they'll be able to change the editor chief mind. He's a straigh man always values honesty and hard work. Their deal was to do a manga that could beat Crow and +Natural and in the end, they estimated that they couldn't win. That should normally mean that they won't draw anymore for Jack. But the question is : is that really so dramatic? Like they said often, there is other magazine. Sure, they are not as popular as a classic Jack/Jump, but they can still make a reputation in other magazines. I wonder if Miura will retire from Jack after that. I think it's something that he won't forgive soon... |

| What an insanely tense moment...that cliffhangar...sooo good. =) I've always thought they'd leave it up to the readers though on whether something is better than another. And it was heartwarming when Miyoshi let slip she knew about it. =) They've become a cute couple =D |

| Holy mother of cliffhangers, the whole editorial meeting where they were trying to decide whether or not Ashirogi Muto's Perfect Crime Club was good enough to beat Niizuma's ongoing 2 works was really damn intense and the ending of the majority vote... jeez. PCC was a definite winner for me in my books at least for my personal taste and considering how interesting it would be not only for kids but even teenagers and young adults who have the nostalgia of experiencing situations like these to some degree + from what I saw of PCC, it looked really well done, especially the tense and slow-burn scenes and the artwork from Mashiro looked outstanding. Felt like a project in harmony in all facets, their best work for sure to date. Going to be interesting to see how the next episode progresses now that PCC lost the votes with 3 in favor of it and 4 against it considering the criteria at hand. |
| I think it can beat Crow but maybe only tie with +Natural. They mentioned several times now that Crow has been 4th or 5th place. |

| what a, must say, "sad" way to end the episode, the editors are making majority vote if PCP going to win or not, and the chief editor says no, and then showing mashiro and takagi from floating camera angle, perfect directing. though it may be the same with how the manga were made, the OST adds a lot to it. PCP sure is great manga, love miura commenting while reading it. miura sure showing great development on this ep, with takahama after that too. only thing missing to me is hiramaru, little scene with him minute before the meeting scenes would lighten up the mood before the dramatic final scenes. |
| Finally, some content I wanted to see. We're getting a play-by-play of the storyboard content. I wish we had seen some more breakdowns about the creative process like this the whole way through. Seeing panels as they were drawn, getting to read the storyboards ourselves, and so forth. It's kind of disappointing this hasn't happened more throughout the series as a whole. Hm, I never expected Perfect Crime Club to get rejected. Not really sure what to expect at this point. |
