What an emotional episode! Everyone this time has shown their true colors and their resolve. The chief was amazing this time around, doing so much to save his poor Debris Section, and Lavie having thrown away everything for his children, then there's Eda being super amazing again. I wonder what'll happen now that Hoshino is done with Debris? What'll happen to everyone =[

Well without the garbage(debris) collector, space wouldn't be safe. How come those company doesn't care about the most important job in space

So... Dolf got fired for dramatic plot development, and they moved a different division manager to replace him, despite that guy's established emotional conflict with his new personal. Can we say unrealistic business practices?

Temp girl should be getting arrested for brutal assault, fat man fired for blatant incompetence, and new division manager fired for reckless endangerment. If workers died because of a space mine planted by their own company, the press would destroy them.

I expect it all to be ignored, though, since Hachi is leaving.

Hmmm, if that film crew can get some footage of the mine, then that'll help them expose any shady goings-on!

Otherwise, Im with whoever above said about them joining Dolf's dummy company to do with Jupiter, especially since it looks like Hachi is really going for the trials for it!

If work laws right now are shit, in 2070 they're non-existent. Since when can a Division Manager leave some of his guys to die. Oh wait! That happens here in my country.

Anyways, I was wrong about Lavie, Eddel kicked ass, and Hachimaki is just a pussy for not being able to be clear to Tanabe.

Damn that new manager sucks, but it was a nice episode and a bit more action from Lavie! The ending was quite a twist in the story, I wonder what's next!

What a fantastic episode! Everyone stepped up and believed in themselves and their ideals. Cliffhanger came out of nowhere since the focus really wasn't on Hachimaki. I wonder if it's him realizing he doesn't know anything really besides debris hauling. I'm referring to what he was reading in his book and him being unable to figure out the EVA stuff.

Stupid Hachi!!! Please don't tell me this is a series where he throws away love just to regret it later in life . . . However, I think it is clear that he intends to try out for that Jupiter project, ironically I am praying he doesn't make it.

Debris section is going to be disbanded. This episode covers their "last mission". Maybe everyone can get into other sections but Hachimaki announces, that he will leave the company for good?
I have written my own Ecchi short story. It is called Nopan Mahou Shoujo!

"Okay, baby!"

Glad to see everyone come together and pull their weight for the final mission of half section :D

The director, Edel, and Lavie in particular. I've always liked Lavie, he's always seemed sort of selfish/self-concerning but always in a way that only seemed skin deep...like he's a much better person than he appears to be...this episode just really epitomized what I think about him.

I've been wondering for the last few episodes how Claire is going to get more involved. I feel like she'll be teaming up with half section, erm, excuse me, the *former* half section (qq) in some way or another.

I didn't feel the impact of anything that happened due to the wacky pacing but I appreciate that the old man, Lavie and Edel got their moments to shine

Welp, the people in power put Dolf to supervise Locksmith, and now that despicable man is the new director of the section with the debris team, and he is going to get rid of them out of spite. Hachimaki doesn't even seem to care because his eyes are on the Jupiter Project already. Fee is dealing well with it too because she already lost her place once, and she knows that she can find another job.

Yuri is calm too, possibly because he already found what he wanted as a debris hauler, but Lavie is worried about his children's future, the chief was almost retiring too, and Edel is going to lose her main part-time job which she needs too. Tanabe tried to do something, but it was for nothing, at least their last mission was a success, and Lavie could be cool for once. Hakim, and Claire continue to get closer, and he is also from a country plagued by war. Things are certainly getting interesting, I wonder if it's going to be goodbye to some characters, or if they will all magically continue together.

Great that we have a Lavie-centric episode, finally put humanity over bureaucracy.

Edel was also badass again.

Good episode with an interesting albeit predictable end, with Hachimaki quitting the company after the Debris section had been shut down due to the new director, but his reasonings were not related to that but due to wanting to board the Von Braun. Going to be tough on someone like him to beat out the competition in front of him, especially given his status and reputation as someone who was working for the 'Half Section' for a long time. Also going to be tough on Tanabe too if he commits to this since she may not be able to see him for a very long time, which is a massive compromise when it comes to a relationship with him.

This episode was able to communicate really well why Half-Section works as well as it does, and I kinda love every single character on it.
It's always nice to watch a humanistic show where (most) characters are trying to do their best to do good, despite assholes like the new director.

Not sure how the new director climbed the ladder to begin with. Having an impassioned hatred for the only section in their division that actually does anything with such fickle reasoning isn't the best display of his professional capabilities. Then again, mimic space mines aren't a great idea to begin with, so who knows. Maybe they're really playing up how much of an analogue INTO is for NATO.

Also, really bored of this now.
