lol @ everyone that doesn’t understand the whats going on
You guys either need to pay more attention to what you watch or you need to stop watching Hadena subs.
It is suggested as of the Blind girl arc and that Commie subbed the letter and what was written there that they should be followed. Hadena did not do that. This is a very hard series to sub and the terminology got me @_@ at the RAW, which usually does not happen. Usually I can immerse myself into understanding anime RAW but this was hard. So yeah pro subbers of years are best with this series.

On that point Political terminology with a taste of era history correctness does stand challenging. You have to understand history and politics. That's a bitch because the level in this series is over high school or at that level at least.

It's to say the least this series is serious stuff even thought the ecchi may undermine it at times. I will leave it at that and Commie IMO are the best for this series but they only do their stuff in 10bit.

Sadly 13 isn't nearly enough to cover what the series has just so far in what 6300ish pages? so I certainly hope for more... I mean bad anime originals get 20+ episodes .. finally a horizon adaption and it only gets 13 -_- and has about 10x the detail , character and plot development. not to mention infinite faction-ism and detail overall
I calculated the VN->anime adaptation speed and settled on around 100 pages per episode. So if Sunrise wants to finish this series, and there's every indication they do, we'll see at least 60 episodes and probably closer to 100.

Don't give up hope till we see BD sales records, which should be around 5k per volume or enough to barely fund the series.

Great episode, great series, the smartest show in years. Definitely my favourite this year and I was about to drop it at first...

Well, normally I love debates. But here it just was built up totally wrong.

Toori made up for it, though. He alone is worth watching this show.

Fantastic how this anime is going. Definitely the best of the season (Fate/Zero is pretty damn close, though). Obviously at this point the series is not going to be one cour. I expect it to go into different seasons for sure; no way they can hope to finish the plot they are doing within 5 more episodes.

Yet again, I praise all of you who can keep up with this anime, and laugh at all of you who cannot.

For those of you who cannot, go watch your moeblobs or Naruto or something brainless like that, because this anime is obviously not for you. That is all.

All I got out of this was now Musashi is going to fight against Testament Union in order to collect all these Deadly Sins shit to save the world. So what I've gathered from all the episodes so far, Musashi is the Divine State ran by a bunch of kids? Then what the fuck does that make Mikawa? Who controls who? Why the fuck are kids in charge of such an important ship?

When Far east done something wrong in the past, it is valid to blame them and give all kind of possible restriction.
http://genesis-horizon.wikia.com/wiki/Divine_States
The world control Far East, Far east is under Mikawa, and Mikawa is the owner of Musashi

Were the Armaments created from the original Horizon or from P-01S Horizon? Who created them again?

Yes, the armaments are created using P-01s,if you put "lust" into Horiaon, she gonna be sexy and attracting lol.It was created by Motonobu(sensei).

What the fuck is going on? Why are there basketballs attached to the majority of the female characters? What the hell is going on?

Isn't there rumours that this show is a split cour with the second season airing sometime next year?

Another brilliant episode, admittedly it was hard to keep up with at points but i was hanging on there every word. It was a great mental exchange between Masazumi and the Pope with both trying to assume the position as the one trying to avoid conflict. The use of Ad hominem was a dirty low blow but Toori was there to help out and diffuse the situation.

I wouldn't say that it's the best episode ever (mainly due to the lack of emotional involvement like in ep5 :P), but I was highly entertained and intrigued to the debate.

never knew that an episode with 98% talks in one place (and not a first ep exposition) could be this interesting

Pacing and ending-wise, this would be just like Deadman Wonderland. Do things quickly and "end" it haphazardly.

And the show's almost always uses stereotypes. The Tropes are just staggering in number, and they're not even always justified.

Like I'd said above, I highly doubts it since it is still following the pace of the light novel nicely. If it's "rushed" then it's done so according to the pace of volume 1 of the book.

Season 2 already been confirmed, so there's no need to rush it.

There will be second season for sure, every thing is just started to get fun and there is no way they will let it end with just couple of episodes.

I agree but well, an extreme situation need an extreme method, Maszumi get trapped by that pope with such a sensitive matter for a girl, she got confused and may broken down any moment in front of the media, take like a split of second for Toori to pull out such a nice stun to relieve Masazumi stress, prove to every one that she is a girl and make the old man angry, we can see how great as a tatician Tomoki, lol I love Masuzmi slender butt :)~.

The general argument is this.

The pope wants complete dictatorship over the land and he's using the argument that horizon is a tool created by Mushashi's ruler (who died a few episodes back) to collect all the weapons and bring about the Apocalypse. Because the ruler killed himself in what could be argued as a non suicidal way, the pope is using that and the fact that Horizon has the previous Horizon's memories, as a way to claim Horizon as the legal successor of the land even though she wasn't formally given that title.

The problem is Mushashi's students want Horizon back but by doing this makes the pope's argument about the ruler of Mushashi wanting to control all the weapons and bring about the Apocalypse true even though that's not the student's intentions. The only way out of it was to break the country up and claim the branches as neutral making the school a sole sovereignty. If a war was to brake out the school would take responsibility instead of the citizens as a whole. The pope clearly doesn't want this so since they claimed sovereignty he's going to take out their current leader.

Toori isn't as dumb as he lets on. I mean sure, he is dumb but he's using common sense in an argument where the pope and the girl are using confusing arguments to try and sway viewers on the live broadcast to understand. Who do you think the people watching the TV are going to understand better? Clearly Toori. It's why everyone loves him so much. He says it like it is without complicating things.

yeah..this... i couldn't agree more...

IMO,
even if it's not the best anime in this season. i think this anime is good,
even if sometimes this anime make me confused, but this anime is funny, have good action (really like fight between muneshige and tadakatsu, oh and kazuno fight is great too.. ^^), good ecchi scene (ecchi scene that not ruins the story/plot).

and, if im confused, there's tons of forum and blog and wiki that will explain to me what's going on.. so, don't be bitch and go search in somewhere (google is your friends) when you're confused about something in this anime.. (if u didn't want that , this anime is not for you)

Well explained indeed. I understood things now better.

I was thinking also the Pope was using slippery arguments as well. Tricking multiple times into proclaiming war. The Pope knows he will be at a better advantage thus its in the interest to start war or claim to be ruled by Testament Union.

The echhi is also tastefully done in my opinion. Every time it happens I actually laugh.
