| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Me it's all about Kobato.Of course Maria is second. Just telling all that there will be no nude scenes except for one or 2. They will all troll you about it. In the LN there was only 1 or 2 scenes. This will be like Denpa where the panties shot might be the only good thing that you all see of fan service of Erio. Anyway I did my contribution in the club: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=351561 that's just the beginning there will be far more. About the ED, quite simple the Sena following,  Virgin Marie? Is that you? From the looks of the following,  she is giving repentance and sin forgiving to Yozore. Do you know the meaning of that? Seems to me that Sena is the more innocent one in all this than Yozore. In fact it shows me that Sena is totally innocent but can still be hypocrite. I mean we all know girls who gives you out a nice smile only to later being using you. Sena might be a little bitch like that and this pure parody of Christian religion along with the fact that Maria has Catholic clothing. I wonder if the school they go to is Christian, right? There are some in Japan, right? Anyway the rambling's point is that Yozore might be bully and Sena is really all innocent but backstabbing so to speak. Hoppy said: Yozora should STFU and do a harem with Sena and the MC. It's obvious the beauty of Yozore/Sena are there but it's obvious you were not blind to the festival part of the OVA and how close they were to the MC. Yozora was still rude for not letting Sena in the door and trying to shut her out the window even though she's hated by her. I wish, the author would never do that. Fan hentai manga after this? |
| Another roll back? Ok well I think that this show is going to turn our awesome. I really love the art direction a lot. Some of the best looking character designs I have seen in a long time. I can't judge much because of it just being episode 1 but from watching episode 0 aswell I can sure say that this is going to be a very funny show. |

| I can't help but feel that Yozoro has the same seiyuu as Mio from K-On. Unfortunately, that's not the case. It still hits me though. At least this harem anime has some uniqueness of such than most. :3 |

| The threads keep getting deleted? I was wondering why it was so sparse. I made enough of a dent in my summer backlog to finally watch this first episode. Good so far, I've been looking forward to this series. Kodaka's pants kinda bother me though :/ |

| This was a pretty good start. The OP is pretty catchy, the art is good (very Denpa Onna like) and the characters are great too. Well... I guess "interesting" is a better way of putting it. Kodaka reminded me a bit of Ryuji from Toradora! because he also got misunderstood as a delinquent because of his looks and first impression. The only thing I didn't really like was that both Yozora and Sena are pretty stuck up in their own ways, but I think they'll grow on me throughout the series though. =) On another note: The thread reset AGAIN. -_- |

| I don't know, I just don't know. It was nice, but it felt not as exciting as reading the first few chapters of the manga. There were also some extras compared to the manga version that are probably in the LN. Liked the background sounds when Yozora and Kodaka met, you don't often hear it like that. The ending was very funny, with the nun clothing. |

| Enjoyed this more than the the little OVA. It gave some time for Kodaka and Yozora to be introduced (to us and to each other), I appreciate that. I don't like Sena. 4/5. |

| The characters design by Buriki is great as usual; I'm not sure what kind of magic he is using, but his artwork never fails to draw my attention. The aspect ratio, bright eyes, rosy cheek, coquettish lip, refined hair, and untidy but stylish way of dressing may be the elements. For the basic settings of the show, it is clear and evokes my sympathy: "how can you make friends?" Hope the show won't fail like "Denpa onna". oh, I almost forget to refer this: the way the protagonist wears his pants is unlikely. |

| Yeah I'm unsure about Yozura's voice. When she gets all... serious and defensive, it's too deep. And aprt from the lol pink lips, the character art is nice. I always imagined Kodaka as being completely blond though, the weird line is weird. But it's nice and I liked it and I'm looking forward to the next episode! |

| i liked it, especially the drawing style. but somehow this wont be my favourite for sure. and indeed kinda like haruhi but like this one more though ;) this feels like a time killer to me ;P but I love the black haired girl (not good with names ;p ) |

I read the manga too, and I had the same concerns, I thought Yozora's voice sounded too deep at times, and Sena's too high sometimes. But I'll get used to it too, I guess. No big deal. |
| Oh no, the Denpa Onna faces. Oh well! not my favorite but there are worse. Half decent first episode. I guess whether this anime will be successful or not will depend on conversations and character interaction so it might become enjoyable or boring depending on those factors. |
| The bidder is late for the ride, but nevertheless, i would like to share my thick connection to the theme of this show. It is almost a year now in my new school... and I am still in search for friends. I have joined and thought of creating clubs and such, I have thought of so many counterintuitive tactics(including the "pay for friend" one), and I have spent the remaining hours of my school days desperately engaging random people. I have met small success. I found it refreshing to hear that the main characters were also confused by the lack of formal definition of 'friend', of whether time and officialness mattered in the "contract." The idea about the fear of "butting in already established friendships" also struck me quite accurately. Socialization, etiquette, pride and the fear of rejection puts so much constraint on the self. Though it is silly to rely on a Cartoon, I do hope I'll gain some wisdom from this. |

| Love the art, since I remember Denpa Onna, and that show brings back a lot of good memories. Must say, I was surprised since I was expecting another Harem shit, perhaps it will turn that way in the future. But this first episode really left a good impression in me. I recalled my dearest Haruhi with Yozora attitude (a sweetened Haruhi if you must) and that alone brought a smile to my face. |

| I'm going to give this a chance despite episode 0 being random and weird... first impression...it felt like a cross-over between The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Toradora (that's like a good thing to me) but it wasn't that great :S |

| I'm also a manga reader and can't help but think that the voices don't fit, neither do I like the character designs, I think the manga's fatastic art style is superior and would suit the context much better. Aside from those two points, it's gonna be hilarious. |

| There's no way that two girls that are that good looking couldn't get friends if they really wanted. This show seems to be an obvious self-instert show as well with the premise being having no friends and trying to make some. Never the less it was actually still pretty fun and I'll keep watching. |
| Interesting. Putting this on-hold. Art is nice. Probably the first time I thought the male Harem lead was attractive. Ecchi and harem aren't my favourites, but this looks like it can have potential. |
