| I was so creeped out during the scene where the zombie guy said he'd let the kid go then him horribly. I had my hand on my heart the whole time hoping the kid would be able to go safely. Great episode. |

| The scene where the kid got killed rated second only to the scene in the first episode with the girl in the pit of worms. Not expecting to see many unicorns or rainbow bridges in this anime series....lol. |

| [Re-watch | BD version] Really, watching this again makes me so much happy. Seeing Kiritsugu so happy with Illya... Iris all relax. Saber worried about everything... aww. Once again, the scene of the tentacle think killing the kid scared me again. That scene is so well done I got scared even when I knew what was gonna happen. Assassin getting his ass kicked...well, those were some sick dance moves tho. Goldie making a show already. Awww, the ending.. MEMORIA... I just love that song, it is so epic and warm and so much soul in it... It makes feel every servant special, with a past, a purpose... An artistically speaking, it's beautiful. I love this anime... Now I'll stop writing, I don't want to spoil anyone jaja but in my opinion |

| I think that Assassin was supposed to die at the hands of Gilgamesh,the archer. Assassin had a good thing going till he died. He was exceptional at detecting magic, until Gilgamesh killed him. Gilgamesh is also a trap BTW. Seems like Caster came to Uryuu(Who I hate a lot). And Ranger must be at the hands of Kayneth Archibald. If Saber was King Arthur, then maybe she had a yuri with Guinevere until Lancelot stole her from Saber and Saber became the lesbian yandere. So, Saber could have also had a unrequited love for Lancelot. History is shattered. Illya was so cute. Let's see what becomes of her father and mother. And Rider was like the funniest character in the series. 172 hours or 7 days 4 hours remaining. Let's see what happens. And it just became 6 servants from 7. So, I think Assassin died because Archer will become more powerful. Good opening and nice animation. |

| The dubs are cheesy as fuck. Subtitles make this show so dark, mysterious and serious. Why do dubs always turn Ufotable into generic shounen? I don't get it. Typical of Americans to turn it into a money making affair. I swear the sub voices completely change the tone of the story. However, I hate reading shows. Saber is the classic dark, smooth talking female. Child character is typical loli. Typical dad. Typical murdering teenager. Typical Bluebeard. Ah but with dubs I can be so lazy and watch crazy cartoons. |

| I'm not sure why I'm watching this when I have no stomach for horror, thrillers, gore & violence. That scene with the kid supposedly being granted freedom but then being torn apart by some sort of demon and the two guys responsible laugh while we hear the child's continued screams in the background. That's fucked. That's some fucked up shit right there...yet this series isn't tagged as horror? Hmmm...explain that MAL. I'll say this though, It's a really interesting premise and set up and I feel like I'm understanding roughly what's going on but it's a fuck ton to remember seven master names, seven servant types, seven servant names just to start off with - let alone remember what each of them do etc. I'm using this chart/image thing I found to keep track what's what - might be useful for other noobs to the series. |
