| Gah, could MBS stop to change the broadcasting time all the time, it's annoying me. Missed like the first 5 minutes because of it. >_< Anyway, trippy battlescene, although I'm sure there are quite a few people who wont like it. Heh, also, I couldn't help but to think of Kara no Kyoukai during the scene when that women jumped off the skyscraper. |

| What the...the Magia we heard in the previous episode was slower and in a lower pitch, but this one is the real one. I personally thought the other one was eh, much better. |
| Mami is amazing, she even has a giant cannon for a special attack. I like her victory pose as well. When I think of those Muskets coming from everywhere and nowhere I think of Cheria Barnes from Tales of Graces and the fact that knives come from impossible and unknown places. Her muskets appearing from under her skirt definitely reminds me of Cheria as she also has weapons under there. The monster was weird and gross, I don't know what to make of it but I'm glad it was killed before I started guessing what it was. |

| Yeah this series is everything I want! I never actually like Bakemonogatari art design, that one was quite boring. It's not a real animation. But I like insert songs very much, these songs remind me a bit of .hack series and Tsubasa Chronicle. Mahou Shoujo anime always last long. The Story plot is not too slow pace either. Sankaku put this the best anime of season, probably is. |

| still not into the show yet, but the battle scenes are still looking pretty good.. and I really like Mami's fighting style so far.. so 1 musket per shot only, and too bad she didn't say "Mami's GOT BIG GUN!!" when she used that last attack.. XD |

| For an anime I thought would suck and only decided to watch for its music, this is actually turning out to be kind of interesting. I like the Magical Girl vs. Witch concept, but I was kind of hoping the witches would be a bit more visually appealing. I guess I thought they'd look like Magical Girls wearing black, sort of like Akemi. I haven't seen a monster that ugly since the Broodmother in Dragon Origins. Still don't like the animation. The colors are a bit too dull for my liking and the character designs are just weird. Sounds like the next episode will be about Akemi. |

| I just love the art style in the witch's area (and of SHAFT in general :P)! I also won't dare to mention the plot holes of the wishing, but, it doesn't matter because so far, it is a good show =] and anyway, did anyone else, besides me, catch this reference at the end of the show? (to the far right) |

| Mami is a total badass. Nonchalantly just busting out unlimited musket works and blowing shit up. Girls with guns are always such badasses. Yuki Kajiura kicking ass with the OST too. Interesting exposition on the way magical girls fight too with the whole competition thing going on between them for the grief seeds. Looking forward to the inevitable magical girl vs magical girl showdown. |

Btw, it seems like she has been on ED illustration of almost all recent SHAFT shows. |

| Mami's hair ribbon is a BFG and she keeps muskets under her magical skirt. I like Mami. The scenes leading up to the witch were just...wow. Very original, really breaks up the quite typical animation style of the rest of the episode. Music's still fantastic too. Really liking how this series is shaping up, I hope it stays consistently awesome. |

| I hope that the battle scenes won't just feature weird paper cutouts as enemies because so far, I'm not really likin that approach. The suicide attempt was just way too similar to Kara no Kyoukai 1 to be an original thought. If nothing gets better, I'll still be watching this for dem musics! |

| So what I got so far is: -Homura tries to kill Kyubei cause he keeps making more magic girls who need to kill witches but [PLOT TWIST] witches are actually magic girls who's jewels grow completely black from neglecting to use grief seeds from witches to remove the darkness, but Mami never tells them and [PLOT TWIST] she is the first one to turn into a witch so Madoka and friends band together and defeat her. -I still have no idea if Kyubei is evil or not. |
I'm in love with Mami and her muskets! This show has the potential to be really dark. Everything is being constructed so smoothly, and the whole witch thing actually reminds me somewhat of how the witches were in Soul Eater. It's also interesting how being a magical girl is like signing up for the military. They give you a big bonus and you put your life on the line. This could get real fun. |

| I though this was episode fantastic in its OST and execution of it. I also liked the characters reactions to Kyubey's explanation. It was nice to have been introduced to Mami's place. Particularly Akemi's expression when Madoka asked her about the magical girls. The view of the city is excellently executed and well done. I did find the evil symbol particularly shaped strangely, why a crown? Sayaka's reaction was dramatically memorable. Mami's fight was pretty good but I thin the world is far more sick depicted. I still think that was a nasty hit to Mami from the monster after she was caught in the black vines. WTF is that monster anyways?  and those other bugs? In the end I did like big gun of Mami but I would rather choose Akemi over her. Did also like Madoka's drawings. I was also usprised at the suicide theme introduced, despite that it portrayed Mami as being a nice person helping the victim, which brings to if those symbols affect also animals/children? I want more drama and still don't trust the fur ball Kyubey at all. Too bad Akemi did not save Mami. Guess it shows the dark theme this anime is capable. |

| Okay, I'm into this series now. Doesn't look too cutesy during the fighting scenes, and MAMI'S GUNS ARE EPIC. Now I want to see madoka rocking in her magical girl attire. Episode gets 5/5 from me. |
