They keep saying wilted, but it's more like Dune pimp slapped it into submission. Speaking of Dune, his voice is annoying because his voice actor did Edgar in Earl and Fairy. Also if you look at the picture of his voice actor he's wearing a purple scarf.

Epic! Coppe-sama finally showed his fighting skills. He raged when Flower was in danger.

lol Dune is such a hunk.

Next episode: Cobraja and Kumojacky will end up like Sasorina?

You know when the capes come out shit is going to go down.

~~

How will this show have 50 episodes? If Suite Precure starts on Feb 6 like MAL says, and Heartcatch took a week off at the new year, then there is only four more weeks left. I can't see how there could be more than 49 episodes.

Wow, that was quite impressive! It's been a long time i've seen the badguys damage the Earth that much on a magical girl anime...

But why is Dune a bishonen? That's so cliché... So now, it'll be:

ep46: Kumojacky and Cobraja out
ep47: Dark Precure out
ep48: Sabaaku out, and most likely granny rescued
ep49 and 50: final battle against Dune (with the usual des troyed party at the end of ep 49, but the miracle power in ep50^^)

coupe-sama ♡♡♡

so dune just became even more of a bishie and i am perfectly happy with this.

i don't even understand how japanese kids managed to watch this show. it's an all-out emotional assault. if i were 10 and watching this i would've had multiple emotional breakdowns by this point.

Looks like the final battle has begone.
The main villain has arrived and he kicks so much ass.
Deafeating all the precure and turning the world into a dessert is certainly a pretty good way to show how powerful he is.
Lord coupe was such a badass this episode as well.
Next episode seem to be Cobraja and Kumojacky last stand, that should be intersting.

Okay I actually teared up when Tsubomi and co. went to their houses and saw no one.
And my heart was overjoyed to see there are survivors!
"Fortress Maximus has come himself. Okay! Then I shall get Fortress Maximus to fight me, huh huh huh!"

And thus the epic finale begins! The highlight of the episode for me was Coppe-sama kicking ass and going apeshit. Don't mess with a fairy's partner! Tsubomi's grandma has a great voice actress, she really put her feelings into her performance, one could feel how dire the situation is. This is one of the few times, where this one word can be used to perfectly desribe my feelings about the finale: EPIC!

ok we are in the endgame now huh

its a shame Cure Flower got defeated so easily by Dune but then Dune is overpowered as fuck defeating all of them precure there

lets see how the rest of the precure can defeat the enemies now and not make the earth completely become desert

Dune looks like an average skateboard guy. Kinda lame villain.

Well, this was still a nice and touching episode.

I wasn't exactly sure how dark Heartcatch Precure would get when I first started the series. While having the whole world undergo desertification, the Precures' home town destroyed, and their loved ones turned into crystals is bad, it's luckily not as dark as I was expecting. It seemed like all the people the Precures saved in the past retained their human form, giving them hope and support to fight. That being said, this situation is pretty dire.

It's kind of weird that Tsubomi's grandma told Tsubomi that every person has a completely unique heart flower. Not even in the sense of "How do 6.9 billion (+ however many people died in the past) species/color/whatever combos of flowers exist," but that in episode 36 we were clearly shown that those two keionbu girls had the exact same flowers (which I found weird back then too). meh

Anyway, crazy that the villain actually managed to achieve their goal. I don't remember whether this happened in other Precure series, but regardless, desertifying the entire world is absolutely fucking insane, to say the least.

lol Coppe

Seeing Coupe-Sama getting serious was amazing. I can't believe I actually admire the character as well now.
The ep was great, I liked the fightscenes and the emotions felt by the characters. But I can't really take the story seriously when no ones discovers the identity of the Cures despite the fact that they're like 20 people still alive. How can Erika's sister, Itsuki's brother or Yuri's "little lover" not wonder where they suddently disappeared when the Cures appeared ? I know it's aimed at children, but GoPri felt much more realistic regarding that. In such a crisis, how could you just forget about where your loved ones went if you know they are still alive ?

Oh, and I feel sorry for the boy in love with Tsubomi who lives in another city and is most likely the only one still alive there.
