You can forget about another Saki till 2012 or so. Currently there's enough material for maybe 4-6 episodes, not more. Well, of course they could also add a beach filler episode, an onsen filler episode and a bunch of tea drinking filler episodes, but then it will become K-On!. :D

Oh, I have to work on an unenjoyable job! Malaysian government wants to produce animation, and they asked a Japanese company to produce one because they don't have the know-how. The Japanese company has outsourced 22 episodes out of 26 to Chinese studios and the budget for one episode is two million yen!

one episode is two million yen....... lol
Too cruel reward.

Well, Malaysian government should use their own local talents instead of asking outsiders' help.

I hope that was sarcasm too, lmao. Unless you've completely missed the point in the word 'anime'
Anime is a slang word for Japanese Animation. get that??

You'd be surprised at how much things are ooutsourced. So long as the one in charge of the company labels it an anime it is an anime. It stopped being slang when it became an official label.

GONZO=studio version of 4Kids

What were you thinking GONZO, S3 of Strike Witches (wait AIC has the rights to that) or S2 of Saki please.

To call GONZO the studio version of 4kids is completely unfair considering they have actually done a few quality series. Granted, I haven't seen the entirety of their roster but I can, at the very least, say that Last Exile has enough quality for my opinion of the studio to remain neutral. 4kids however use the title "for kids" to hide poorly disguised xenophobia.

Aye, its as suspicious as hearing that the tea party wants to make a cartoon. I mean, I don't know anything about the Malaysian government, but I wouldn't be quick to trust something the government thought was a good idea. Sounds like potential brainwashing consider the impressionable ages they want to target.

No, anime is what the Japanese call any animation.
Japanese man: "Oh look, Spongebob is on!"
His friend: "Haha, you still watch anime? Aren't you a little too old?"
It's nowadays used to describe animation from Japan, weeaboos and such don't seem to stay true to the original Japanese definition.
And since it's Gonzo, a Japanese company, it can be considered anime by your standards.
Spongebob = Cartoons = Western Animation

lol....have you even heard?

"OMG!! what are you watching?? It's an anime called BEN10!!" </sarcasm>

Not that I don't mostly agree but this isn't the first time a word (or even specifically a japanese word used by Americans) has been used differently from what it actually means.

anyway GONZO made the Welcome to the NHK! anime so I can't hate them ever

1. Low budget
2. Cliche script
3. Chinese sub-studios
4. A director who thinks it'll be crap.
5. GONZO

This is gonna be terrible.
