| Berserk in 720/1280p is epic shit. If this is going to be a series, I am hoping they start from the very beginning. The original anime left out a lot of stuff, like the beginning chapters before we go into the flashback. And a few other things..... Zodd isn't even in the anime from what I remember. Could be wrong :X it's been a while. Tho I'm really expecting an OVA series like Hellsing Ultimate. They can easily animate the stuff the anime missed, then go on and animate where the first series left off. I'm hoping for the former though. |

| "Don't count your chickens before they hatch." For all we know this project might just be a glorified music video. I'm crossing my fingers for an OVA instead of a new TV series. Seems more appropriate for such material. Less budget restrictions, less time restrictions and less prone to censorship. Of course, the studio would have to start from scratch instead of picking up where the series ended. Can't have a Berserk anime without Puck. |

Yep, Zodd was featured in the anime twice, the first time being during some war, he gave Guts the famous quote "If you're truly his friend..blah"after pummeling both him and Griffith. The second time we saw Zodd was when Guts sword broke during the final battle of the 100 year war, and Zodd decided to throw that huge meat cleaver to Guts. To be honest, this anime covered the golden arc perfectly. Besides Puck, this anime only lacked about three insignificant battles from the manga, and a few dialogue scripts (not 100% sure). Also, if this anime is set to cover all the arcs, our lazy friend Miura might release Berserk volumes more often. XD |
