| In this episode we are introduced to Aka and Ibara who are tasked with exterminating Ara-Mitama rather than pacifying them. Aka has the ability to use Black Magic to absorb the Ata-Mitama's power and make it his own. The use of Black Magic comes at a cost as shown in the after credit scene. |

| Aka was really cool. I wish the show would feature him and his company as main protagonists. He's much more interesting than Yukito. And it would reduce Jingi's screentime, which is always a good thing! One good episode after all. And the introduction of the main characters is finished too. Let's see what the real plot has in store now. |
| the episode as a whole was mediocrely bad like the others, but I can't help finding some cheesy charm in Aka. what a Vampire Knight-ass character. the 2006 vibes are off the charts here |

| I wish there was a proper training arc for Yukito. Perhaps there is one on the way, but we went from him being clueless to performing his kagebunshin no jutsu without any real explanation. There was a brief scene of him meditating in a garden, but that was it. |
| I can't stop thinking that Aka actually looks like a character from Diabolik Lovers lol. Though I admit that at least he's a, well, pretty cool character here. I just hope that he doesn't die by his own actions. |

| Aka seems like a nice guy until they argued about the extermination of the monsters. I guess he became jaded due to the master dieing or maybe he lost the power to purify during the beginning. The black magic don't look good, it might be him being one of the boss he need to fight in the future... Jingi is the biggest troll as usual. MC is being the typical marysue MC arguing for the monsters and running in to danger when he can't even use his powers properly lmao. I hope we get to see more of Ibuki's crew. |

| Yukito descends onto First Island with Jingi, thought the experience is like Spirited Away for newcomers. Though Jingi claims to take care of Yukito, an Ara-Mitama claims an entertainer's instrument, though he encounters Aka Ibuki, who hasn't seen him in 10 years. Entering Aka's business of GOZ, Jingi was there cooking his way through and not caring about Yukito. An Ara-Mitama showing up at a tourist attraction must be quelled, but Aka exterminates them as opposed to pacifying them. But the fact remains that outsiders are not limited to Ley Energy, which Ara-Mitama have the potential to attack innocent people once again. And though Haru and Aka were once both Yukito's father's students, they have their own issues to deal with. Facing the main Ara-Mitama body, Aka's Black Magic, is pretty much like one K character, though he claims that he wants to be stronger than the dragon. What is exactly the plot here now? |
