| "You really are terrible interesting. You fail." Heh. That was so mean. Utaroku got more screen time. He's a pretty fascinating guy. Mameda's progress has been amazing. I can't wait for the last episode and see what kind of performance she'll gives us. However, that guy with a mustache is up to no good. Hopefully he's not going to ruin everything. |

| Possibly my favorite episode so far. Utaroku seems like a pleasantly unstereotypic sort of character - too bad there's not much screentime left for him. |
| great episode as usual. it's really nice to see how good mameda has gotten. mameda shouting to get attention though lol. even this anime couldn't escape from the clutches of an antagonist. that old blading dude is here to fuck things up for mameda. poor guy didn't get over that small incident even years later lol he's pathetic. it was honestly amusing to see everyone watch uta like that with a slight blush on their face as if they were mesmerized. but damn that lady was kind to uta. must be a benefit of being a regular. the vow story is being said second time in this anime i guess and i finally understood it the second time. mameda's got one more chance, hope she makes the best outta it. the anime hopefully will end with mameda getting accepted as apprentice but i really wanted to see more of mameda with bunko but sadly i don't think we will get too much of that. this was quite an unique anime and it would be great if a second season was already planned as this is not very popular so a second season prediction based on BD sales is out of the picture. 5/5. found this rendition of the vow story. watched it, it was pretty good. watch this if you want to hear more of that story. |

| Mameda has passed Haku and Kirino's trials, and the 3rd of Utaroku...was a wild trip of failures to reach success, being defined by interestingness. Because Utaroku is no ordinary Heavenly King, he's someone that works in the red-light district, and Mameda will work herself to the bone even if it means getting his attention. Mameda's test this time around, is the same as how Bunchou fared in his past, only rowdier. And Utaroku is getting so mad that he decided to perform his Rakugo, and it mesmerizes the crowd in a womanly fashion, albeit at the cost of his tireness. The finale will be even more interesting, if following the manga, which has been a faithful adaptation so far. |
