Did anyone actually think Ains deployed Pandora's actor in his stead?

I thought "meh might not be Ains" but the way they directed the scene threw me off so hard. Talking about how they now know Ains's strength gauge and all and finally they reveal "Nah ate you don't" lmao.

i love this season the good animation budged it back and the story is as great as alleys it really reminds me of a good game of Heroes III or Civilization franchise where you simply play the Necromancy faction

A bit lackluster to learn that it was Pandora's Actor fighting, although he did it very well.
It was interesting to see that he could use all of the spells Ainz would use.
I should have noticed that it was Pandora's Actor when he fell on his knees to stop the fighting.

Would be wonderful to see Ainz getting beaten one day though.

I didnt expect that to be a fake ains. Good episode!
Smart to send PA out to gauge the enemy's strength. I was hoping to see the war with cocytus and mare but oh well.

if PA was strong enough to hold back the dragon... ains should've been able to obliterate him

Can someone who've read the novel tell me please :
Why didn't Pandora use the 10th tier spell Time Stop ? His way of "fighting" seemed extremely dumb, he could easily have captured the armor if played correctly, no ?
Why,, because he not even serious from the first he fight Riku,, he there only just to collecting information about enemy even make himself look weak again riku,, and yeah its work,, in the final Riku think that he can beat Ains by his own.. remember Information is Power in Overlord no matter the way the regain is

This still doesn't make sense to me if we're looking at it from a purely information control standpoint, capturing Azuth Aindra and his armor should have been excessively simple with a TimeStop and a gate to nazarick, there he could have been tortured efficiently to get a massive amount of information, namely on the previous players and potential leftover items, the true localisation of the platinum dragon lord, etc.
Likewise, capturing an important weapon of the dragon lord, his armor, should have been top priority, instead of this farce of inefficient and poorly thought out "combat".

Don't you agree? Is it just me or Ains/Maruyama aren't really using the tools at their disposal intelligently?

maybe u right or not, but lowly human like us cannot understand what the lord really planning.. who knows

Note: Magic like Instant death or time stop not gonna work on high level creature, they gonna have immune on it, and Platinum Dragon Lord Have Higher level than 80,,
Ainz sama always thinking that he not only people who send to new world. he thought that he not the strongest or dangerious being in the world and ainz sama cannot making any mistake for sake to protect everyone under him so he very carefully in every move, and be prepare for the worst scenario maybe happen. in future. Sasuga Ainz sama..

is okay if you dont agree, you can talk with maruyama sensei if you want..

Oh dear, I got trolled hard in the end...

No wonder something was off with Ainz as he talked too much and even groveled, I thought it was just an act to extract more information from Tsa the dragonlord.

Very good episode ^.^

As the LN reader, I am satisfied with the episode. It pictured stuffs happen on the novel especially the fight in better way. If just reading the novel, I probably would still thought that the barrier is "opaque" rather than completely transparent. But the fight feels cut short, eg if I am correct, "Ainz" raised like 2 or 3 walls while in anime just once, not to mention the last "elemental skull" should've do something.

I actually didn't expect Ainz to use that kind of double-body trap since he is mostly clueless to his surroundings lmao but it was entertaining, especially the scene where... tried to teleport without noticing the activation of the barrier ⁄(⁄ ⁄•⁄-⁄•⁄ ⁄)⁄
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Don't praise Overlord as a good anime, because after I rewatched all seasons up to episode 11, I concluded that Overlord is just an anime with a lot of boring dialogue. I don't care even if you've read dozens of volumes of novels, bad is bad.

Great episode, for me the best this season. The ending of the episode was great, I didn't expect this to happen. Well done Ainz, inventive. I wonder if this dragon is a player or just an ordinary NPC. I hope it will be clarified later this season.

The anime made it clear it wasn't Ainz, since the red orb in his abdomen was missing. There's no way to tell in the LN.

I think the episode was pretty good although they cut a little content from the fight between PA and PDL. It's good to finally see Ainz facing stronger enemies.

I'll admit that it took me a while to figure out that it wasn't Ainz who was fighting the impressive looking Riku. Pandora's Actor made a convincing job of mimicking Ainz for a while, but I finally caught on when he bowed down to Riku during their battle, which is something that I wouldn't see Ainz ever doing in terms of what he is and how he thinks.

Azuth's red mech was impressive, but during his talk with Riku, he conceded that he couldn't do much more against his opponents. It was also interesting to see that it was a dragon lord who was controlling the "Riku" armour.

Overall, the episode was satisfying, with the fight having some good animation here and there. =)

Hmm, I think there's some lack of consequence in this anime rn.
It would be good if an actual challenge would appear anytime soon so that there's some more tension.

Would say its pretty easy to spot that it was pandoras actor as albedo is way to rude toward him, and especially since he is missing the red orb that ainz has.

I was feeling something weird about Ainz because in the fight he ONLY talked to himself with Ainz's voice, not his human voice. Then, in the end, it was Pandora and, obviously, he just knows the Ainz's voice.
HAHA, good move, sasuga Ainz-sama!

Oh boy! Now i want to know more about that dragon! And it seems that he might be a player, just like Ainz, maybe he did the same thing like Ainz did? I wonder...

Oh and that wasn't even Ainz and he already couldn't defeat him xD Can't wait for their real confrontation then haha

Damn. Just when you thought the show would finally break the formula and present a character who could counter Ainz to a little extent, they reveal he was just fighting another one of Ainz's minions. What a disappointment.

Anyways, F in advance for this Riku Aganeia dude. Wherever he is right now.
