Bit of a strange ep this time. Not much to say. Surprising plot twist though, does that mean we're not gonna see akutsu again? Really strange.

Anyway akutsu lost as we thought, though the final score was 5-1 so he didn't lose 6-0. Though I cant remember the last time we had an interrupted match. Wouldnt be surprised if it was the ishida match(es)

In any case no idea what the next few eps are gonna do, but its entirely possible they might just go around doing some other stuff now that the main matches are over. Ryoma still hasnt had a full on screen match yet but I guess they have other plans.

I mean Amadeus literally wiped the court with Akutsu but this game was amazing and it really shows how Akutsu has grown as a tennis player

Also it is nice that Amadeus sees the potential in him and even compares him to his greatest rival Byodoin cuz after all even though he has the worst temper, he will 100% become a pro player in the future cuz he just has the skills for it.

Akutsu was my favorite character ever since I watched the first Prince of Tennis more than 10 years ago, and I always waited for chance for him to shine again. But it's a shame that it seems like we won't see him again in the near future.

i'm a bit worried that Echizen will finish the world cup with Japan. i mean he started with US he should stick with them till the end.
