| Yikes. Just why? There's no way mal can rationalize this decision. Don't you care about manga mods at all? Not even one bit? They can't approve manga, add characters, commit db changes. There is just not enough manpower to do this. Can't you see it? |

| Not even Japanese comics that got a printed release since years and a real live drama adaptation are getting approved. And now some unpublished korean webtoons are getting added? I don't quite see why this is called Manga database either. |
| This will allow people to add a lot of their favorite series that they have wanted to add to their list for a long time, which is great. However, just like many others have been saying, it is incredibly important for the manga database moderator team to get on top of the massive list of unapproved entries. It takes far far too long for things to be approved or fixed. Expanding the scope of the database will only make this harder to accomplish. After this expansion settles down, I really hope the focus will switch to making the database far more comprehensive within its limitations before expanding any further. |

| Finally, this was one of the things keeping me from actually liking MyAnimeList, I hope this website becomes even more complete and "lax", for example by adding TBATE or some obscure OtomeIsekai manhwas I like to read (so many I cant even name them lmao). Thank you MAL mods, I hope yall add even more stuff later, which would be epic. Even tho I hate them with all my heart, adding manhuas - for example - would also be amazing for diversity |

INKR Comics also has some Western titles but unlike Webtoon and Tapas the manga and manhwa in INKR are from publishers like TokyoPop. Plenty of titles in Lezhin were published first in Ridi Books, Mr. Blue or Bomtoon. Bomtoon carries not only manhwa but also lots of manga titles translated to Korean. These three should have been whitelisted by now. Tappytoon is almost similar to Lezhin. Manta has popular titles. Toomics and Netcomics have various languages available. Netcomics also has several manga titles along with manhwa. |

| I still wish that all webtoon, manwha, etc. (non-Japanese manga) would get deleted. The manga database is far too overloaded with submissions because of it. We barely have several of the new manga, let alone a lot of manga up to date. Including manwha, webtoon, etc. was one of your worst decisions. This is MyAnimeList. Should be anime and manga only, and anything manga or anime related. Nothing else. The manga database is very underwhelming when compared to the anime database. It's unacceptable. |
