| So the main protagonist basically has two female characters who are looking for his attention, or at least cares about him. Ayano seems like the type that gets pissed off easily while Kisara seems like the friendlier type. Ayano himself seems like a really dull protagonist, unless they develop him properly. Animation quality looks fine I guess although I'm not a fan of the character designs. Honestly, I feel like they trie to make Ayano as difficult to approach as possible. Action was pretty tense and fast paced though, so that's an eyecatch. Oh and the kissing LOL |

| This is yet another A-1 Pictures original show (now there's 2 of them) where the staff members here are a lot more prominent this time: SaeKano author Fumiaki Maruto credited for the story and Date A Live illustrator Tsunako for the character designs. However, despite the original tag, this is Aniplex's Project Engage, a mixed-media project with this anime (Engage Kiss), the manga (which is based on the anime) and Square Enix's mobage Engage Kill. For a start, Shu Ogata seems like the stereotypical boy whom is lazing around, and seemingly done with Ayano Yugiri, his former colleague and ex-girlfriend. And there's one more person: the pink-haired yandere Kisara. Both girls taking care of the penniless bum, they're too kind to treat him like this. The only way that Shu can earn money: diving into this alternate world where people bid on cases involving demons called "D Hazard", where the bidder will get the case according to the danger level of the demons. And this C-level D Hazard seems like too much of a case for Shu and Ayano to handle, it's Kisara who defines her powers through the ritual of a kiss that turns her into a full-fledged demon. This ain't your normal rom-com, that's for sure. This just leaves me no doubt: both Lycoris Recoil and this show (both produced by A-1) certainly has some plot beneath them that are more than just their assigned genres alone. Saturday nights will be an area of mystery and goodness. |

| Yeah bro the usual black haired protag living some not so usual life having some colourful girls around him… fawning over him, and yes to nobody’s surprise the pink haired girl the one we’ve to watch out for. Monsters running in the city for no good reason, and then some neat action and day’s over. Also quite evident from the first episode itself the reasoning behind the title. This one gives the shades of Black bullet and Takt Op, and that’s not a good thing. Though hopefully we get a bit more than the usual harem cliches and obliterating the monsters stuff. I Don’t mind the kisses though. |

| That kiss scene was something else.... Well another Aniplex original anime production animated by A-1, in the same day too. Animation was pretty good as it was expected and the main girl is apparently another pink-haired yandere.... I'm sure I'm gonna love this. |

| A-1 Saturdays are looking amazing rn. Engage Kiss story doesn’t seem to be as good as Lycoris Recoil, but it has everything I need out of an anime. Jealous obsessive hot waifu with Yandere tendencies. Some amazing animation, awesome character designs and the perfect amount of fan service and action. That was the highest quality anime kiss I’ve ever seen in my life lmao. This reminds me of those 2010-2016 peak era trashy action harem shows with fanservice methods to power up. I love and miss that era so much. Hopefully A-1 keeps up the consistency, but they’re running the weekends rn. |

| I'm deeply concerned about this show's priorities. The last six minutes or so of the episode was a ton of fun. The action was extremely well animated and even better choreographed, the characters quipping while fighting both each other but also the demon dogs, the excessively animated kissing scene and closeups on latex covered butts… well, they are what they are. It is a magical girlfriend show, through and through. I'm less enthusiastic about the rest, but particularly the whole middle scene of having a meeting and auction over who gets the job. Why was that almost a quarter of the damn episode? The whole start was already slow enough before it devolved into bureaucrats arguing. No matter how good the action choreography is, and it genuinely was pretty fantastic, that doesn't excuse spending nearly as much time on a goddamned meeting. I'm also less sure on the characters, but particularly the protagonist, who is extraordinarily traumatized by contact with the attractive female who wants to dote on him. They do a bit about how she's also a tad jealous and murderous, but he's at his best when he's being smooth, not having panic attacks from ritualistic spit swapping. It's just that the start is so goddamned slow and there is absolutely no story to speak of. They only even are at the casino because it's a job that they took, which is about as inorganic as you can get, so the whole first 15 minutes is pretty much filler set to carnival music. Even if the episode ended strong, it was a very unengaging way to kick things off and hook people in. |

| Another A-1 picture original anime and this had a pretty nice start too. Setting is kinda generic but it's fun enough. I'm glad we have a yandere female lead, she's lovely. |

| I am going to have to rewatch since the episode is pretty lore heavy. But damn, haven't seen a new show look this good in a while. Probably will be best looking show this season. The animation, sound, visual effects, action, blew me away. Also the dialogue surprisnglly isn't boring and dull. I am definitely sticking around to the end. This show definitely needs more traction. Definitely has some of the Tsunako vibes from Date A Live and Neptunia. |

| Another A-1 production, it's similar to the other show but both are interesting in their own way. Shu, the protagonist has to fight Demons called "D Hazard" in order to earn some pocket money. And there comes the contract with the demon and a triangle-love. We're in for something for sure. |

| Went into this blind, in the beginning I thought this was some kind of rom-com where the MC was some sort of aspiring author. Somehow my opinion of the MC worsened when I saw and thought he was leeching of those two girls. Then when he put on those shades and teleported into some virtual meeting, I thought it was some kind of Sci-Fi setting where he was some sort of detective who was out of work, then when the demon showed up and they started fighting I thought it was some weird sci-fi fantasy action rom-com. Then they hit me the glorious kissing scene power up and really the only thing I could think was "Oh, it's one of those shows". Hey, at the very least I'll watch it for the cute girls and the kissing scenes, hopefully they hit us with some more of that goodness. Production seems really good, A-1 really bringing it home these days with the quality. |

| The usual battle harem setting that you can find in like thousands of LNs made last decade. Originals are plagued with terrible writing, and I still keep trying to watch them. If the main heroine is yandere, it would be something to look forward, but it doesn't look like this is a strong trait on her. Pass |

But this is another show where a kiss boosts up someone and works as a team. Alright, let's see where this will go from here. Have to say that the fight scene after the kiss was a nice thing to see. |

| No clue what the fuck was going on for like the majority of the episode but what I do know is that we already have a Candidate for Waifu of the Season. Too bad COTE and R-a-G also happen to be airing this season. That kiss was high quality though. The animators know the show's priorities well. |

| Kisara, Shu, and Ayano have a pretty entertaining dynamic. I like that Shu basically works with his ex (who seems to still have feelings) and like one loyal (slightly unhinged) employee who’s totally in love with him. Shu seems like the type that’s always gonna be broke even when they make money because they inevitably make a mess of things lol. This was a pretty good premiere, I’m looking forward to following this one weekly. Lycoris and this have been the two standouts so far. |
| Great episode! Shuu seems to be cared about by two girls-Ayano and Kisara. When he said he ate out to Kisara, I was scared for his life xD. Kisara's ritual to get her power as a demon is awesome! Kiss scene was great and animation is good! Looking forward to the next episode! |

| Good to know that the girl from Happy Sugar Life got a new job. Of course Fate's mana transfer is a thing. The engineering of that building sucks, sure they damaged some pillars, but the building should with stand. I hate this forceful poverty trope. |

| biggest issue I had with Takt OP is when there wasn't an extremely stylized fight, the show was very dull and lifeless. Takt OP's dialogue wasn't very interesting and character's lacked emotions. Engage Kiss i do enjoy the dialogue outside the fight scenes and the characters have personality |

| Hmm horny power will be unrivaled power, I think it doesn't matter as long as it's entertaining. The graphics and conversation of this anime are also good and the characters are also not boring which is only lacking in the story of this anime, I think this is also okay because it's only episode 1. Overall this anime is still worth continuing. Good Start 4/5 |

| Okay I liked it, I liked it a lot. So we have a hot pink-haired jealous and obsessive waifu with yandere tendencies versus a hot blue-haired ex who still has feelings for our MC. I love how they put the big demon aside and just started fighting each other lol. And it was an awesome fight by the way. So far, I like both of them. Given who the writer is, it looks like I'm going to enjoy this love triangle... until it's time to settle things and the drama comes. Animation is goddamn amazing, they even put extra effort into the kiss xD. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of these characters and finding out what's going on. |
| uh, ok so that happened. A yandere demon girl. Not sure toying with her is smart and the dimwit binbo idjit who can't even pay his electric bill seems to be doing just that. Then there's the tsundere ex something (gf, coworker) that has a thing for him. I can't see why any female would. Then the 2 start fighting each other mid-battle. Was that supposed to be comical?
