THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I liked this. I wasn't sure whether to watch the movie first or the series so I went with the movie and It seemed pretty good. A little comedy and a lot of suspense - seemed like a good mix. I hope the series is more of the same. |

The movie actually comes some point toward the end of the series, and goes hand in hand with the Tsubasa movie. But yeah, it's essentially a triple episode of the series. |

the animation and the way it was directed was mind-blowing. so was the music ~ it fit exactly with the mood. however, i thought the story lacked a bit from the other xxxholic works, so it came down to 9/10. still amazing. and i want to hear her past!! |

i loved it! i liked all the creepy and random situations and collections. The comedy and horror were together in a cool way, i wasn't exceptin yuuko saying something about her past, i would like to know more about it. animation was wayyy better than the tv show, i know is the movie but i wanted to say it. |

I really enjoyed the movie on the basis of the strong story and really mystical musical score, not to mention a killer ending theme. But the overuse of CGI, childish animation, bland character designs, a monochromatic color pallet really a turn off. Still I have to give this a solid 8/10 |

I enjoyed it a lot... it had a lot of xxxHolic signature moments... like Watanuki being annoyed by the spirits and monsters, having some fun here and there, Mokona, Sexy and amazing Yuuko, cold Doumeki and an amazing mystery unfolding in front of our eyes... definitely feels like an extended episode of the regular series... obviosly the art is better, but it keeps the feel that made xxxHOLiC have its own trademark feel... plus we all see all those character designs... and the "bad guy" is definitely gorgeous!!! Oh my I loved the movie.... It was quite a refreshing and kewl experience from the regular series we watch XD Signs, Green |

I thought the movie was fantastic. Maybe better than the show itself. The mansion with the Escher-like layout was great. Kind of a giant mind****. I mean, a room with a collection of butterfly antennae? Where do they come up with this stuff? Awesome, says me. matvaynard said: What was the relationship between the client girl and the antagonist[host of the house]? I think it's purposely ambiguous. Up for the viewer to decide. I guess it's not really that important, just as long as we know that they're very important to each other. |

I didn't like the movie at first, but the more I started watching it, the better it got. Yuuko was SO bad ass in this movie!! And Doumeki was cool and sexy as usual!! |

Great movie! The animation was awesome compared to the series! Yuuko was even more sexy and bad ass! Watanuki and Doumeki was funny as usual. Loved the all the crazy things that happened in the mansion it was like one of the insane dreams i had x_X But the reason behind all of these was rather disappointing XD And finally loved how they connected this to the Tsubasa movie :D 9/10 |

What an amazing movie. Art was (as said before) so much better, loved the 'horror' moments and the design for the collection rooms were splendid. I also really loved the scene were Watanuki was searching for the lavatory. The ending was a bit confusing for people like me, who haven't watched Tsubasa Chronicles. All together I gave it an 7/10, would've been an 8/10 if the Tsubasa scene hadn't been there. |

This movie is spectacular! The right amount of comedy, drama, and suspense. The end, lol, was it the characters from Tsubasa Chronicles? |

wow, the movie was made totally different than the anime; I like the art in this movie, it looks better. It reminded me of 'spirited away', a bit. |

I wish the series had the movie's video quality. The Tsubasa Chronicle insert at the end was a bit unexpected. By the way... is this Batou from Ghost in the Shell? :p |

The movie was fine and all, the animation was phenomenal and the cameo tying this into the Tsuabsa movie was a nice touch. |

Second half was a bit boring with all the action, but the first half was everything I expected from xxxHolic when I first started, horror and creepiness. The last portion with Syaoran and Sakura was a bit weird for me.. guess I'll get to Tsubasa Chronicle/CCS next. |

I was not sure to start it, however only after I realized that the film in theory, given the year in which it was made, comes before the anime series. The atmosphere reminds me so much of the anime series of which I have seen only very few epsodi, the graphics quality is better than the series, but there is also a lot of CG that I did not like. In the complex he was pleasant to follow and deserves for those who adore the themes dealt with in the film. For now my vote is 7/10. |

I love how they connect the movie to Tsubasa Chronicles. I didn't even realised that the key in this movie was the one given to syaoran's party. The fact just came to my mind at the end. UwU.The art was also, without a doubt, fantastic. 8/10 |

Well, I finally know why it's called xxxHolic. I really liked the part where they went through the rooms of different collections. |

damn that little girl creeped me tf out. 1st half was amazing but it got boring in the 2nd half, the story just fell flat at the end. The visuals looked crisp af here compared to the TV series. also i gotta say, CLAMP tying the xxxHolic story with Tsubasa Chronicles is so fuckin lame, aint nobody wanna watch/read that boring generic shit. |

This is the most I have seen Yuko-san in action since that episode when she cut that laptop in two. It's disappointing though that they didn't use Buck-Tick's song for the ending. It literally has the name of the movie in it. |
If you are going to disagree with me, don't bother talking to me. I will seriously hurt you! |
