I still wonder what role will Karl play, or if he's role is now over.
Also, did Johan said to Schuwald who is real son was, just so he could get closer to Schuwald (so maybe he could gain acess to his fortune, or his power)?

I love the fact that through the past few episodes we're getting a scoop on how Johan finds ways to manipulate people.

I can't help but feel this is another sick game by Johan to learn further of the human psyche...can't wait to see what he does.

Is it just me, or does Johanns expression near the end of this ep. seem different than his appearances recently? More like when he first appeared.

I am starting to get it. Johan's plan that is. His plan was to get close to Mr. Schuwald. And now he is his secretary. There is probably some information Johan seeks, like I have mentioned before. It is also now clear that Johan eliminated Edmund to achieve this goal. It was not according to his plan that Edmund was a deceiver. To earn Mr. Schuwald's trust, he needed to do something truly emotional. And giving him a fake son would not be good enough. But then again, we have some proof of Johan's experiments with human psychology. It might seem this is another one. However, this particular case is too easy for Johan. When he was 15, he was observing psychology of mass groups in occurrences of greed and power. A love between a son and his father is too simplistic for a genius like Johan.
We also seem to have a parallel. The private investigator and Karl. Their situations were the same, only opposite. Karl was away from his father, and he was afraid to tell the truth to Mr. Schuwald. While Detective's daughter is afraid of his ex-drunk father. Since Karl finally reunited it makes me think we will also see a happy ending for the detective too.

At first I thought that Johan is going to steal the rabbit foot and pretend to be the real son, but it seems he got other plans.

And was I the only one that nearly cried when Karl and Schuvald met in the end of the ep? It was very emotional, but Johan's face ... that was weird and kinda frightening :S

I really thought Johann would take the proof that Karl was the son and then use it to claim that he was Schuberts son... but this is actually more creepy, what the heck is Johann planning?

Same here. That father son moment was touching. And yes, Johan creeped me out in that last scene. Like someone said above, he had that same creepy face he had when he first appeared.

Touching episode karl and his dad :)

About Episode:

Seems like Richard has some trauma for that case and that's why he cannot drink alcohol also that's why her girlfriend don't want to see him because Richard did wrong thing in that case. So woman don't want to let his meet this Rosemary girl.

First I thought Johan was trying to destroy those evidents that Karl is Schuwald's son but indeed he wanted to Shuwald to accept him and now that Shuwald is going to recruit him as secretory there is change Johan is looking something maybe relate to his Monster problem.

Really nice episode

I feel like they're all stuck in Johan's web. This episode was beautiful and uneasy as well. I share the previous comentors' opinions. Johan needs therapy. He's manipulative, a sociopath and is ruining lives. Howver I can't help but enjoy watching him wreak havoc.

That father and son scene is beautiful so beautiful that I almost cried and I told you Johann is just faking it he has an ulterior motive Johann is a Monster but I like how he can manipulate people but I don't like him killing innocent people well that's it I gotta sleep again.

wow what a episode!

we see the detective despite acting all good towards his counselor and his ex-wife he still have some problems towards alcohol!

i do think he did drink it and now his hallucinations are getting worse and worse!

i do have to wonder how his foster parents will act despite telling them earlier that Karl wanted to become their son.

man that scene at the end T__T

finally Schuberg knows!

and wow Johan is such a calculative bastard, probably went close so that he could get all the money he needs for his soon to be army.

shame Frank Lotte didn't appear here :(

also no Tenma or Nina Fortner? then again it's been awhile since we have a Johan episode ^^

next episode!!!

I agree that Johan likely (nay, certainly) has an ulterior motive, but the real question is what said motive is. Shubert and Karl are indebted to him now, so he may be planning on taking advantage of this. It's also possible that Johan seeks information or fortune through being Shubert's secretary. Just think: He would be handling all of the legal documents, including financial ones, for Mr. Shubert.

I'm curious to see how the detective will fit into this, as I too noticed the parallel Algirdyz mentioned on the previous page. However, I'm not so certain things will turn out as well for him; I hope he doesn't cave in and drink again, at least.

Has anyone else noticed we've been in Munich this whole time? Where did Tenma's last lead point to? ;)

Really liking this arc with Johann. Finally seeing him as character, not just as stories told about him. I'm curious to see what his endgame is in all this. Unless this is nice Johann and he's going to snap later, but I doubt it.

For me, this series has had mostly hit or miss episodes, but this story arc so far has been fantastic.

I thought this episode was horribly slow, but man any episode with Johan give me shivers!
I keep thinking someone will die right now when ever he appears.

I really can't understand his motives here, I am sort of sure he is not all nice because he is nice, he is still monster!
So maybe he has some benefit from the rejoining of the father and son.

I know I'm not the only one who thought old boy was gunna revert back to drinking.

& I think I know Johan's secret...he's a trap queen. The original trap queen.

Poor guy couldn't see his baby girl...

& that icy cold stare Johan gave at the end. After Karl reunited w his father, I was like. "Oh well. Too bad one of you have to die, now." I was literally expecting the dad to get stabbed or shot in the back of the head/neck.
