I disliked the way it ended. bad guy one where as ML and FL separated. I hope there is third season.

If anything the Manhua and this arc is so different. There are similar plot lines, but how they play out is completely different.

Overall it wasn't bad. I always though the guild lady was kind of too flat, and was given slightly male features. So I wasn't all the surprised. big hint was given away when he tails her to that house, and he brother tells her look how he treats you once he found out.

I Liked This Season As much As Season 1.
The Blue Haired Girl Sidekick Was My Favorite Character.
Definitely A Different Kind Of Isekai, Makes A Change From Same Old Story Ones.
Looking Forward To The Next One.

The villain bro and sis initially had 2 different bodies. So how come they merged into one body ?

Did they? I always noticed the female version was always quite flat. Wasn't a surprise to me. But the arc in the Manhua was nothing like this. The guild lady was not dual personality instead a indentured spy to some family, and the elder was actually and elder.

Can any of you tell me is Ahqi (the assasian lady) a main character or what. Like I'm guessing song yan is the main girl but it's annoying with the whole you have to marry him if he saw your face thing lol. I like her and it's annoying for me that she's not in the main story.

When the evil dude made the MC choose between those 2 girls he made his sister fall last. She fell in water and the MC jumped after her while the evil dude was fighting someone else. How do you explain that? 😅

That’s what IM SAYING!!! 😂🤣 that dude was fighting gonggong and he was rescuing her. At first I was confused…. I had thought she was the assassin girl 😂 because she seemed to recognize him when he plowed into her and they tumbled off that statue. She already knew his identity as well so I assumed it was her. But then we saw him leave Ahqi his belongings at the end and I was like 😳😮…. But then I was like 🤔🤔 this is good because she was better than the song girl and he needs to focus on THAT anyways. Let snake boy have amnesia girl and you take your masked wife away.

when he dropped the person, they were masked, you could only tell who was who by their clothes. And the evil guy jumped in after them at the same time the hero jumped in. The Eunuch also followed suit, and the people who surfaced was just the girl and the hero. When the hero let her go, the bad guy reappeared, and the Eunuch then reappeared. The water was with a big electric eel monster. so the Enunch could have been distracted by that, normal person dies, and bad guy turns back into girl character. and reappears when she disappears around the corner as bad guy.

I rewatched episode 12 and the girl fell in water, MC jumped after her, evil dude after that and then the Enunch person after that.

I'm just going to assume that the MC got to the girl earlier. So there are 2 possibilities. It's a body double or the actual girl. If it was a body double we would've seen that when they came out of the water.
As you know it wasn't a body double so she shouldn't have multiple personality disorder, since the evil dude was still in water.

It's possible that the MC was distracted by those electric eels. Nonetheless it doesn't really make a lot of sense to me.

The detail is there though at least. Since the person in the sisters cloth was never unmasked, when she fell in the water. Its still possible the double was eaten by the eel, and during the confusion the bad guy disguised themselves as the sister. The Enunch probably was caught handling the eel, Body double never resurfaced so I assume they got munched on.

To clear up some confusion here, the sister that had bag over head in episode 12 was a body double, who drowned and sank. The sister that came out of the lake was actually Dai dressed as her (he changed clothings underwater in a flash in a bid to trick Wang that sister is OK so he won't look for the body double), it was believed she was the sister so Wang got the 2 guards to escort her to safety, in episode 16 near the end, (at this point the sister/Dai already died in Wang's arms) you could see there were 3 bodies eventually floated back up, that was the drowned body double and the 2 guards who Dai killed and threw in the water after Wang left for Song Yan.

I found the split personality Dai and the sister being the same person, this whole INSANITY TRIP how the ins and outs of the story were marked by insanity progressing to the revelation was very interesting, I liked the last episode, and satisfaction overall knowing this was the case. The sister/Dai just became a better enemy overall like Batman villaiins Two-Face/Joker.

The MVP was the Eunuch though, I LOVED the fist fight with Dai. Eunuch was SO BADASSS. It was a good Season 2 !!!!! The twists expanded onto a better kind of story. The openings and endings were really GREATTTT songs. Definitely there was an improvement to Season 1.

I'm surprised that only one other person besides myself realized the significance of the three drowned bodies at the end of the episode despite all the questions about the body double.
Having not seen or read anything from the source material, I enjoyed this season overall. Good music, good battle scenes, etc. It's only the revelation that greatly disappointed me. You're telling me that everyone who knew Qiang Wei/Dai Wu Shuang couldn't see the resemblance when Dai Wu Ji was fronting?? No one wondered why the two looked so alike?? No one even suspected that they might be twins, or that they might be related?? It makes sense that we the viewers have trouble telling some of the characters apart, but even MC and the other characters can't see it? Even though the only difference on the face is the facial expression and the makeup? That's pretty ridiculous.

Pretty good for this season 2 ending with a plots twist. The MC cultivation is a bit to low and slow.
