| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- The Last Day on Earth. Another good story, I rather liked Bem. Not entirely sure how they made an entire deluxe house but they're a likable character regardless, like the little story with the old lady. The aliens were pretty amusing this time too, liked how they tricked the Professor with half-truths and such, and enjoy seeing the disagreement between him and Astro, albeit it was brief. I also liked that they made a big deal about the panic of the world, and how the impending doom affected the world due to it's influence on the gravity. Tides are caused by the moon so something massive enough colliding towards the Earth will have many different effects on the planet's weather before colliding, but I have seen stories where that element isn't really addressed, so it's neat to see Astro Boy cover them here. |
| Bem was a good character and it's sad to see him go. |
