A pretty decent ending. I enjoyed all the flashbacks and seeing how his character developed throughout the manga.

This was a good resolution to the overarching question of "where is this going?" It was touching to see the father's guidance influence Midoru and give him an idea of what to look for in a mate. It could've used a little bit more development, though.

I liked it, but the abrupt development from the last chapters gave this one a bittersweet taste lol

I decided to give it a try cuz it's written by Ueshiba sensei. despite being weird MG-X is one of my favorite manga. This manga was 10 times weirder than MG-X but I had faith that Ueshiba sensei will give us a good resolution in the end. And I was not disappointed in the end. The last message was nicely written too.

It is shocking to find how many people do not believe they can learn, and how many more believe learning to be difficult.

I found it interesting how from early on in the manga Ueshiba sensei showed himself conflicted and not in favor of the issue of falling in love with his mother and how now at the end all the 'mother's fan service' scenes are assertively seen as repulsive and difficult to deal with. During the manga our Mc hung, but he doesn't fall because he was leaning on Ninomae and the message coherently being in live in an suffering and since the hot springs chapter, despite everything, getting rid of temptations with his love.
