Ah, I figured I'd put a little more life into the place. So, what's your favorite character? They can be from DC, Marvel, or an independent publisher.

For me its...

DC: Green Lantern- Ever since I was a kid I've liked GL. A dude with a ring that lets him create anything he can imagine? Freaking sweet. My favorite GL is Alan Scott, followed closely by Kyle Rayner.

Marvel: Iron Man - Another guy I've liked since I first heard of him way way way back. I think it was because with a lot of superheroes, they're either born with powers or they trained until they were that good or something, but Tony was just a regular guy (well...sorta) until he was forced to build the armor.

Independent:
Kevin Matchstick. From Mage: The Hero Discovered/Defined. Look him up. :D

Gotta be Spidey as a favorite overall, growing up nobody ever really compared to me, the powers were just so neat, and the character was a bit of a nerd... I still remember jumping around the house pretending to be spiderman haha.

I went through a pretty big Spawn phase when it was first released as well, but I just never made the same connection to the character. As far as DC goes Batman was always tops for me.

Yeah, Nightwing's cool....but I still like Tim Drake better. :D (At least, when he's not in the cartoons and isn't a Jason Todd clone...)

Yea, that was annoying. The mixed Tim and Jason together in that. I was like, NO!!! Tim is way cooler than that!!

He's not really a superhero, he is more of an anti-hero. Which is still cool. I haven't really read any punisher comics.

Well, that depends:

And of course, you got the 'The Punisher Kills The Marvel Universe'-comic. Where he kills ALL other heroes and badguys.

Anti-heroes fail hard. But far be it from me to hate on a fellow comic book/anime fan.

Brooding heores aren't as much fun. I'd just rather be saved by Superman, since I'd be sure he wouldn't have a last-minute angst attack. Protagonists that rock as characters occasionally fail as heroes. It's necessary to stay interesting.

Me, I like Multiple Man (from X-men).

DC: Azrael. He was a badass when he took over as Batman (Knightfall-Knightquest-Knightsend stories), and he was a badass when he set out on his own. Gotta love a guy who thinks he's the personification of Death.

Marvel: Nightcrawler.

Jamie Madrox is awesome. I always thought that was a cool power...it became even cooler once I read the mini-series Madrox and the X-Factor ongoing. He's one of my favorite characters in comics now.

I like Remy LeBeau aka Gambit!!! He's like the coolest hero ever. It was a death sin to not put him in the X-men movies and to let him die in the Ultimate series...

Nightcrawler is cool too.

So for DC: Batman, Nightwing, the Question and Green Arrow. My favorite metahumans are Kyle Rayner, Hal Jordan and Supes
Marvel: Deadpool, Deadpool, Sentry, Thor, Wolverine, Nick Fury, Spider-man
Image: Invincible, Ryu (from Street Fighter comics, if it counts)

My favorite Villains are
DC: Deathstroke, Darkseid, Two-face, Lex Luthor
Marvel: Dr. Doom, Venom, Magneto

A close second would be Animal Man (Buddy Baker). I like that he is a family man.

Marvel: Spiderman with Ironman close behind. Ironman would be first but I didnt like what he became after Civil War (Super Hero big brother... no thanks) so Spiderman wins.

DC: I would say Nightwing with Batman in 2nd.

Image: Spawn is a must. The spawn comics were what got me into comics

Overall Spawn would be my all time fav. with Spiderman/Nightwing in 2nd and Batman/Ironman in 3rd.

Morpheus and Death from the Sandman. I mean I can understand why some people don't like Morpheus, but you've got to love Death, it's like an unwritten law or something.

Best X-Man ever in my opinion, Gambit and Longshot come in close seconds. I like Longshot because he doesn't really have a power, he's just extremely lucky and I think it's sort of funny.

CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT THE CORINTHIAN. My favorite spin-off from The Sandman is the Death in Venice.
Yup, impossible to don't like Death. As far as I know, some people doesn't like her bro because he's way too much serious and unfunny... but I think those suit him very well. But from the Endless, I think my favorite is Destruction.

Same here, but I still think that Gambit is as cool as Nightcrawler, and doesn't deserves a 2nd place.

@Pyro_DarkNicto:

The Corinthian, jeez how did I forget him too? But yeah seriousness suits Morpheus well, but I have to say every once in a while he has a good sense of humor/whimsy, like when he battles the demon for an artifact, 'I am Hope', and when he makes the bet on the suicidal man's life, who he then makes King of America. Destruction is alright but he wasn't in there enough for me to really get a liking for him.

Ehhh Gambit's alright but I think Nightcrawler is more fun, Gambit has more depth and is more badass, but I mean Nightcrawler's blue so he gets my vote.

@FALLEN101, I have my reasons to like someone that appears so much little. Destruction kinda personifies the life I always wanted: destroy, watch be destroyed, then hit the road and try to create something. Then maybe destroy again, but in the meanwhile, be somewhat bored.

I know what you mean about Morph's sense of humor/whimsy, and that's one of his main characteristics IMO. But even that humor is even more a ironic whim than laughable humor itself, and that makes him even more serious, but it's one of the things I like the most in him.
And remember that the bet on the suicidal wasn't in his plans, he was somewhat challenged by his sisters (he refused in the beggining) who used the memories of Destruct, and not his sense of humor. I think a better example would be the guy who lives forever and he visits every 100 years. That one is a goddamn whim.

By the way, we need to add Death: At Death's Door to the relations. We should have a topic like "News/Suggestions" or something like it.
(I recommend this one, it's way too much "pseudo-manga-ish", but it's nice. Gave it a 9 just because it has "Sandman" in the back and because Edgar A. Poe appears in that one, haha)
