Inderdaad lang geleden. :D

Yeah the ending is a bit of a letdown, but honestly I have no idea how else he was going to end it. Maybe that's just because I've read it so many times that I just can't concieve another ending or whatever, but regardless of the ending the journey was good enough to make it a classic. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

That's good, you'll enjoy Enigma, it has a couple of problems but for the most part it's amazing. Junk is also amazing, the action scenes are kind of frenetic and remind me a lot of guerilla cam type action movies like the Bourne Ultimatum, the only problem is it's hard to tell what's going on. But the story and the characters make up for that.

Will do, all I know is it's coming in October and the coverart is out on the web.

Actually no I don't, I just like the name. I live stateside, in small town Indiana, although currently I am in Indianapolis going to college. But no I don't not live in Azerbaijian.

Yeah same here.

I am glad you like it, it is hands down my favorite manga and definitely in the running for my favorite comic of all time. I hope you are reading the new translation and not the old one, which kind of leaves something to be desired. I also highly highly recommend Junk: The Record of the Last Hero, if you like superheroes in comics at all you have to read this one, it's a must.

Another interesting tidbit I came across is that Charles Burns will be releasing a new comic called 'X'ed Out' this October. I have no idea what it's about and frankly I don't care, I am definitely psyched for this one.

Sorry for the ridiculously late reply, I've been kind of busy and haven't had the time to get on MAL. Sorry.

Anyway, yeah most of the guys work is just simply illustrations, nothing quite as epic as his Black Hole story. He did do a cover for a strange little anthology of short stories recently and I have been told he has a short story of his own in there but I will have to read it to be sure. I'll tell you the title of it when and if I find it. And yeah the ending had a bit of hope in it, sort of. I don't know I just didn't feel like it tied it off as well as it could've but that's just me. Nevertheless, a very good read.

Glad you're enjoying it, it's one of my personal favorite in the comic world and I hope Charles Burns is working on another project, although I don't think he is. I must warn you, although I believe that you migh already be done, the ending is somewhat disappointing, but other than that a great read.

Also if you like it, they are planning to make a film out of it, although it seems that it has been stuck in production hell for the past year, but they have some information about it floating around the web if you'd like to see more.

Ha ha! Thanks a bunch!

Ponyo was inderdaad zeer vermakelijk.

Heb trouwens gisteren Summer Wars gekeken. Ook zeer de moeite waard.

Oh yeah thanks!

Well good luck in South Africa...sucks about the anime.

On the bright side...South Africa is a pretty nice country!

Alles is relaxed hier :-)
