 Both this year's 16th issue of Weekly Shounen Jump, released on Saturday, and the official anime website have announced that Haruichi Furudate's Haikyuu!! will get another two-part recap movies for this Fall. The titles are Sainou to Sense and Concept no Tatakai respectively. The first film will cover the match against Aobajosai High School that took place in the second season, and the second film will cover the match against Shiratorizawa Academy that took place in the third season. The preview will be revealed during AnimeJapan 2017.Haikyuu!! started its serialization on February 2012. There are 25 compiled volumes published, with latest volume released on March 3. It's milking in its purest form (well, except when talking about cows I suppose). But why would you despise them? It's not like they're taking other anime's slot, since they air on cinemas. They're not wasting any budget on it since they re-use the animation from the TV series. Sure, it's milking. But it's a good way of doing so. Only those interested in them will watch the movies, while the ones that aren't interested won't get hit in any way. If there's not enough source material for a 4th season, might as well make these recaps to increase the budget for future projects. |

| Haikyuu!! movies has a trend to have bonus scene which wasn't in anime. So maybe Aoba Johsai's one will have that special chapter about them after match and Shiratorizawa's one will have that really important part which wasn't in anime after the match. [please Japan!] |

| Eh, I don't really care, although if I could, I probably would go to watch it in the cinema. Animation for this series was freaking awesome. I don't see where's the hate on recap movies coming from though, I mean if they can make more money for themselves and later we can get another season partly because of it - I'm perfectly fine with them. |

| Japan has reasons why there are a bunch of recap movies but hey yo, there's bonus stuff in it. I will watch for the bonus stuff. I need to see more of Oikawa and Ushijima. And also hoping for a fourth season as well. |
