Idk how to feel about this elf character tbh especially since this is the season 1 finale (felt like this episode could of been introduced earlier). Eh, overall I think the show is fine but I wasn't sold on the humor. The series to me was so-so/meh. |

| Didn't expect Juugo to try leave without his friends but woah that was a nice fight Hajime is badass. Thank god there will be another season, I need to know more about Elf and see what will happen to Juugo and his friends. Great anime in my opinion, I laughed a few times and it had a nice story behind it ^^ |

| Last episode of this first season, first because there are a second ;), and Juugo is afraid because the visit of Elf, this inform that in a near future, is possible "play" with his friends. Juugo try to scape, but Uno, Nico and "Pretty" stopped him...All happies, and begin to throw tears because they will have a second season xD kekeke In summary, this season is regular, there was funny instants, but in general the plot is a little boring!!!! 5/10. |
| That was a good series, very much looking forward to season 2. The Elf is one scary dude, I think I would also want to get the hell out of there. |

| I'm not sure what you guys up there actually watched. Best episode of this season. That was some psycho shit in the first half, really fucking intense. The fight in the second half was cool as well. 7/10, excited for season 2, the serious plot is really interesting. |

| Instead of trying to jailbreak, Juugo could have told them about Elf. That way, they would help him. At least his friends stopped him. Good show overall. There were some good moments. Looking forward to the next season. 5/10 |

| Decent finale to the first season. First half was pretty intense. :o This new elf character sure did leave his mark on Jyugo. I was pretty interested when Elf said he didn't know Musashi, I thought he was the same guy from his backstory, The real arsonist who trapped into all those experiments. Jyugo tries to leave the prison but his friends bring him back, glad to see Jyugo has a place where he belongs now. :) Overall, I liked the show. Comedy was mostly good but does fall flat from time to time. Some of those battles are downright crazy, I initially just thought it was parody gag show, well it still is, but with some over the top parody battles and a small overarching plotline. Personally, I like the show more when it's being funny with all the gags, The battles are good but I like the whole combination with gags + heartwarming scenes more, like the game room last episode and the episode with the NInja guy's backstory. Then again that combination wouldn't exist if it weren't for the battles and serious stuff so I suppose everything in this show is necessary to make it what it is. XD 7/10 , Looking forward to the 2nd season. |

| I was expecting Hajime to pop up from somewhere and fight the elf guy. Turns out Jyugo goes blade arm and fights him. Nanba prison sure has some horrible security with this random guy entering the prison lol. And here they boast about how impregnable they are. Jyugo was scared that his fellow inmates might be targeted next so he leaves the prison. But Hajime doesn't care about that. All that matters is that Jyugo, or anyone, doesn't escape this prison under his watch. I liked how Nico brought Jyugo down lol. That was funny. And then Uno got scratched and he flipped since his face is now ruined lol. This looked like it'll be a comedy anime only with some flashbacks into the characters past and nothing too serious. Boy did this take a surprising turn with 634 vs 15 during the new years tournament. Was not expecting this to go full serious like that. But it turned out pretty nice in the end. This was strong when it was random comedy and is strong when it is serious too. Good stuff. Now to wait for the second coming next season. |

| It was sweet that Jyugo tried to leave just to make sure his friends wouldn't get hurt, but because Hajime didn't understand tried to stop him. In the end he stayed which makes sense in case they DO get targeted if he actually DID leave and would still be there to protect them in case. |

| This is just great. Some "Drama" for the final episode, but not just any like previous episode. To make Jyugo afraid even maybe pee his pant like that. And now he just got serious about that "Jailbreak" and escape thing, which means he need to FIGHT against Hajime. No more lecturing, just some fist and sword one after another. |

| like the comedy, shorted of with it in the last 2-3 episodes but otay.... but otherwise im pleased.. ish.. with the final and with the overall with the ful anime. not feeling for a comment tbh. but give it a solid 8/10 |

| a good episode ender for Season 1! a lot of despair happening for Jyugo on the first part. That sinister villain is a formidable enemy! 2nd part was Jyugo wants to escape so that his inmate friend won't get hurt but Hajime won't allow that! If Jyugo was only more open he would tell the truth to his friend and especially to Hajime. LOL at the title of the next episode (S2E1) it serves to be more serious anime rather a comedy gag anime...lol 4/5. 7/10. |

| An overall enjoyable series. I do not regret sticking with it at all to the end. Very glad I did, and am looking forward to the second one. I loved how strong-minded Seitarou was in here til' he got convinced to let them go to him, and I'm pretty interested in Elf (who reminds me of the Seven Deadly Sins one. lol). 7/10. |
| OH MY GOD THE FIRST HALF OF THE EPISODE MADE ME SWEAT! That was so intense and scary. Elf is a creeper for sure, and quite the despicable one. The second half, while heartwarming, was a bit pointless considering we didn't necessarily have to end with another escape, but hey, Jyugo can control his arm swords! That's pretty cool. Overall, this show was pretty awesome. I didn't expect more serious elements going into this, and even if it dragged at some parts, the gags, most of the characters, the intense bits, and more story-driven episodes (that actually worked) are what kept me coming back. An easy solid 10/10, and definitely excited to see what Season 2 holds. |
| Wait why does Jyugo look the same in every flashback? o_o Always surprised by how actually strong Hajime is. So no punishment for Jyugo for trying to break out and attack the guard O__O Anyway it's been a fun ride for me. I do like the comedic aspect a bit more. I don't think serious one suits this anime. But I don't really mind it. Oh also Elf guy is incredibly strong,wonder what his power is, that all injuries actually go back. Can't believe he doesn't remember Musashi after everything he put him through... |
| Heh that's it? Lol, that didn't even felt like an ending for the season at all! Damn it MAL! Just why separate the second cour?! Should I even rate this "season" if the next episode was next week? Well, just for MAL's fucking record, I'll rate this 6 (or 7) out of 10 score overall. |

| I think the reason why Jyugo tried to escape and didn't tell his friends was because he didn't want them to worry about this Elf guy because if he did tell, he would make his friends worry about him too much and Jyugo didn't want that, so I think that's why he wanted to escape, he didn't want Elf to target his friends, he wanted Elf to target him instead. I truly liked Nanbaka, a pretty good anime with solid humor and really intense moments, my heart was seriously beating when Elf marked on Jyugo's face and tried to cut it off while Jyugo was screaming and panicking, holy shit xc I give this an 8 out of 10 ~ Can't wait to see the new Season, when I watched the PV of it, I got so excited and worried for Rock xc |

| It was a good ending for the first season, but Jugo needs to rely more on his friends. They could have helped him :/. This anime was a good surprise, I loved the comic and serious parts. Hajime is so strong! |
| Pretty good closure of this first season, really looking forward for the second follow up season! In general I quite liked the concept, atmosphere, characters and overall development! The last few episodes were a bit different than the rest, but in general I quite enjoyed watching this series! I'm definitely looking forwards to see what happens next! |

| "next part, Nanbaka is a comedy anime!" <--my big fat butt it is! not with how serious things got in this episode! tho i has to admit real bad; this one's got a thing for people getting pinned and mortally threatened to the point of having a bit of a panic and/or psyche-break ^.^- -i just kept waiting for him to tell them all "there's a freak coming after me, he'll kill you too" -or at least tell Hajime the prison would need tighter security; watch out for this blonde shark-teeth mofo, he's bad news, etc. but nope, nope. |
