| When I feel like I can actually type up a coherent and relevant post. I spend a lot of time lurking here in CD rather than posting because there are many threads where I think to myself that I wouldn't be able to type up a decent reply. There are many hypothetical threads here "Would you X if..." which I don't see much point in replying to because I've never been in the circumstance and thus don't really know how I would act. That line of thinking is pretty much the main reason for whether I post or lurk in a thread. If I'm ill-informed then I don't want to offer forth an opinion. Ignorant people shouldn't offer their ideas and posts. |
