I've read the novel version of this before and yeah, the girl really LOVES books. Regardless, it's a sweet series and lots of character building. Looking forward to more~

A good chapter to introduce us to the new world. Gets on with the backstory of how Myne got there pretty quickly, but still leaving some questions to be asked. Isekais in general are pretty well known for doing this pretty badly.

Myne seems to <i>really</i> like books, and unfortunately for her, she is now in a world that seemingly doesn't have any, or at least not available to the lower class, which judging by the dirty floor, is what Myne's family is.

So far, the manga represents the story just as well as the anime does, they did a good job here, hope that remains to be the case throughout.
