| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Not nearly as cleverly written as the original, felt lazy, and consequently not nearly as much fun. At least the star character wasn't altered any, that would've made it unbearable. Overall just boring and quite unfunny, was expecting more. In essence not Cutie Honey at all. Perhaps the spin-offs will be better. |

| Pretty lovely last episode of this ova series of Cutey Honey I must say, I did prefer the first couple episodes more than the latter. But in general the quite intense parts were just awesome! Really looking forwards to see the side stories of this franchise! |

| Loved seeing Cutey Honey's ugly teacher from the original series. Fun tribute to the original, though not as good. But ain't that always the case? 8/10 mostly for nostalgia factor |

| Lol,sensei from the first series. Well, what can I say, I enjoyed the hell out of every episode,which were easily better than almost any from the original Cutey Honey. Very good show to have fun. |

| What?! How dare they call that a final episode?! Oh well, at least there was one good thing: Kabuto Juzô. 2/5 Nice apparition of the 70s teacher. A futuristic revival of the series with slight humour, more action, more nudity but lacking in violence. Lots of cameo/guest-stars from other Nagai titles helped to make it a fun watch. The way it stops somewhere with no sense of conclusion whatsoever prevents it to elevate itself above manga or TV show who both had some sort of achievement thanks to the completed revenge... Very well drawn but rather still for OAVs thanks to the overuse of speed lines and cuts to simplify action scenes. (I remember reading in the 90s how TOEI was proud of the number of cellulo they were using per OAV... Ahahah !) Score: 6/10 Average but fun. |
