Ten people are dead, 17 are critically injured and one person is missing after a head-on collision between two trains in Germany's southern state of Bavaria, police said Tuesday.  At least 63 people on board suffered less serious injuries, police said. | Yeah, it's interesting here. After a crash several years ago, they instituted multi-tiered safety measures that should have prevented this. Thus, there had to be failures on several fronts for it to even be possible. Thankfully, the trains were far less packed than they usually would have been, or this would have been far worse. I'm very curious as to what the investigation will find. |
