| Forced fanservice is cringy as always, but leaving the cliche start apart the battle scenes was good. Why this series reminds me of Kaze no Stigma? Damn. Also why JB from Grisaia is working here? |

| Pretty good for a first episode. The action in here is good. Claudia will be best girl if no one can match up to her...Julis for sure was not best girl haha. Anyway, next episode will be good and will meet new harem member. P.S All the haters should drop this here if you don't like so we won't see you in future discussion for your complain on how bad this series is. |

| Top-notch art and animation... is wasted on such a generic episode. It was barely watchable. I don't like the main guy's character design at all. Doesn't seem badass in any way, he should change his hairstyle or something. Julis is one annoying heroine with a long name, but as expected of a hime. Shame, she isn't a loli. Claudia best girl so far. Wish glasses girl was the heroine though. 5/10 for this episode. Will watch only if the next few episodes get decent ratings. |

| So far the setting and plot are nothing special, but I did like the art and the battle sequences. OP looked really good too, will probably keep watching for the fights at least Really hope they stop throwing panty- and boobshots in my face though |

| What's up with the Star Wars lightsaber sound effects? It hasn't felt this jarring since another unrelated anime used the sword-clashing sound effects from Fate/Stay Night. |
| Seriously, why can't people just look past these fan-service scenes that last only about 1 min???? The synopsis basically said there will be some fanservice, and that these scenes are short to reserve time for the plot begins is actually a promising sign. Shows having generic characters is not a sin; shows having nothing new to offer is. I have a feeling that what awaits us are the glorious fights between academies with tactics and well-animated actions, and probably some villains scheming things behind. I hope those villains are not retarded tho. |

| I have to say, this was pretty darn good. The fan-service wasn't TOO bad. It could have been a lot worse. It's reminding me of Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei, except that the main character isn't as OP, and with a bit more fanservice. I'm not joking when I make that comparison either. This feels very similar. But, considering that I really liked Mahouka, that's not really a bad thing. There were a couple cliche moments in here. Such as the "I accidentally touched the main girl's boobs when falling on her cliche." But overall, those are excusable. No anime is without its cliches, and the only ones that make you unaware of their presence are of an entirely different league. Overall, I don't expect this to be the best anime ever or anything, but I think that it's going to be pretty decent. |

| I just have to laugh after just complaining about the cliches and stereotypes in Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry. One of these anime is going to get dropped. Oh yeah if you don't have unique colored hair then you don't matter in the series.  Spot the main characters before they become cg cut outs. |

| I read some of this light novel 2 years ago.. I forgot the name, but remembered the first window scene.. There is nothing redeeming about this story.. dropped at the 1 minute mark. This was one of the few light novels that truly aggravated me for what his sister did to him supposedly for his "own good". |

| So... 3 minutes in and we already see a fight, bloods, and of course... panties shots! This anime kind of reminded me with Seirei Tsukai.. 3 minutes in and we got more blood than the whole Gate... why A-1?! Why?! Also the animation is kind of good, comparing to Gate. Maybe because the art style is totally different. Seems like a good start. Let's just hope it gets better. Also is this supposed to be a Star Wars parody? Lightsaber? Star Wars Festival? Are there going to be Darth Vader and incest too then? |

| How to write a LN Step one: Make up some convoluted magic system with fancy names so that Chu2's can yell it and make fools out of themselves Step two: Make sure all your characters are teenagers Step three: Make sure your protagonist is some generic looking no body, but super strong Step four: Create a harem of girls with each archetype common to anime Step five: Make sure to use all the common stereotypes in your story such as a) Protagonist stumbles into one of the girls half naked b) Characters are constantly explaining the plot, setting and what is going on around them c) use more sexual cliches such as falling onto someone and grabbing their boob Voila you made a LN. now revel in money of foolish teenage and adult otaku as they buy the latest Dakimakura designs of your oversexualized female characters. |

| Every cliche in the book! I'll give it one thing though, I do like school battle anime where there's a duel system like that. The fight scene wasn't amazing but still pretty good compared to past light novel adaptions. Still wondering how this managed to get 2 cours though.
