| Seriously who funded this crap? The only thing I enjoyed was the MC's reaction at the end. And I see people comparing it to Yami Shibai... Indeed, the style is similar, it's suspense/horror but Yami Shibai had a much more appealing storytelling technique, from the "Yotterasshai, mitterasshai" and the smiling man in the beginning to the punchline and the modern ED by Hatsune Miku. I can't compare it to this letdown. I really hope Kagewani it's just about these run-of-the-mill monsters we've all heard one too many stories about. If Bigfoot is next, I'm dropping it without a second thought. |

| From the start I wasn't expecting much. Thought it was going to be shorter and with a better art style.. but this is okay I guess (different art style would have been better though). I just hope it doesn't get too boring so I don't drop it. |
| Yes! another Yami Shibai styled show but this one seems to be more plot driven. I'm interested >-> The style really fits the paranormal and horror feel, giving it way more atmosphere than the average anime show with a "horror" tag. I'll be watching ╭( ･ㅂ･)و |

| it feels so weird i may watch it just to see where it goes , anyway its only 8m , i give this episode a 4 out 5 just because the animation and art is feels unique , feels like the studio is using powerpoint to make these , but none the less they had to put some work on these to make that art appeling. |

| Someone told me this animation is called Kamishibai (紙芝居), at least inspired by Kamishibai...? I'm not sure. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamishibai I liked it, it's interesting so I'm going to whatch it. |
| Wouldn't say I hated it but definitely not my cup of tea. I do want to see what happened so I'll probably give a couple more episodes a go. Might just get use to it on the way there. |
| Actually like this show quite a bit. The animation reminds me of those minor cut-scenes from Metal Gear, which isn't a bad thing in my opinion. Love the theme as well. Good start. |

| So this is Yami Shibai without the horror aspect.. hmm ok Won't judge it much yet since it was only 7 minutes. We'll see next week. | It's no big deal in itself, but is a 'horror' series so that's enough for me to continue watching it. I hope it improves though. ETA: yep, really feeling the yami shibai vibe as well. |
| Holy shit this was great (of course MAL goldfishes won't appreciate it since the art style is out of the norm and it does not have any moe or edgy stuff). Holy Shit. Love the unique art style, love the monster design and the horror-movie-esque set up. Certainly can't wait to see more. Out of all Fall Shows so far this has impressed me the most(mainly because a lot of fall shows are typical light novel moeblob crap) |

| Why didn't they hear the steps and feel the vibration when they seemed so close? Was there more than one, how did it get behind them so quietly? When the camera dude stand up, why was he all of a sudden taller than the trees? Why is it freakin huge one scene and small the next? Where did that cliff come from? Did it just throw/spit that camera and from how far since we can't see it? Why was this so freakin awesome? I don't know... I just don't know. But I love it! |

| i say to all the people who stray away due to the art style i say: try it anyway. kaiji/akagi, redline, aku no hana, ping pong, kuuchu buranko, yami shibai and so on, all had a very peculiar art style and all were relatively amazing animes, so i want to give it a try. also i just like the vibe it gives and the art style, as much as i can see that the animation could have done better even while still having this style, hope it is softer on the budget so they can get better visuals and osts. |
| Hm, not sure if the style complements it as much as I'd like it to. Mostly because the only damn thing I hate is still frames, which I'm reminded of here. =__= But it was a little creepy, so I guess it did the job. I'm disappointed it wasn't a titan though. :P |
| Ugh, was looking forward to this anime when I first heard about it but I didn't realize it was a short and that it would be using a "cheap" animation style. That being said, I did enjoy the creepy atmosphere of this episode and for some reason Sugita is the MC's VA so at least there's that xD |
