| Recent Fixes/Features Log The purpose of this thread is to allow users to see recent improvements to the site that may not be worthy of receiving their own announcement thread. Please note that not all code/site changes will be contained herein. Catalogue begins from March 2015. Mar 4 - Removed topics no longer result in ghosts and permanent miscounts on the watched/ignored list. - Anime/Manga List searches now cancel when changing status, rather than having to doctor the URL. Mar 9 - Font adjusted to match the mobile site. - Clipboard "read more at …" script disabled. Mar 10 - Japanese field search implemented on DB entries. - Team page modified to properly reflect staff positions. Mar 11 - Tags on lists now filter correctly. - Visual display of notification indicator modified. Mar 13 - "Grand Totals" on Anime/Manga lists now calculate Mean Score and Dev correctly. - User thumbnails on people pages restored from "?" pictures. - List tags adjusted to not redirect to "watching" when clicked. - Clear button added for list tags. - Broken notification on "Support" page fixed. - "Previous" appearing even when users do not have more than 1 page of reviews, resolved. Mar 16 - Above fix broke the "More Reviews" button; now fixed as well. - JS problems with users updating their Anime/Manga lists resolved. - Using the Add Anime/Manga pages search works again. - Advanced search for Anime/Manga now go back to 1917 (instead of 1940). - Incapsula restrictions on user RSS feeds adjusted to allow dynamic signatures again. Mar 17 - Review Moderator access rank now appears on profiles/the forum. - Images can now be text-wrapped using [img align=left] and [img align=right]. Mar 18 - Email addresses are no longer case sensitive on password recovery. - "Edit Anime Information" dropdown box adjusted to above the social media buttons (not below). Mar 23 - A bug which allowed banned users to still log in on mobile has been fixed. - An error with forum posts being reported in mobile version also solved. Mar 24 - Blu-ray added to the list of storage options on Anime list. Mar 25 - Oversized images now resized in forum posts for all browsers (not only Chrome). - Relations were unable to be added to some clubs after the server migration; now resolved. Mar 27 - Search on Add Anime/Manga page restored. Mar 31 - "read more" breaking on synopses/reviews/recs when confronted with a next line char, fixed. - News post dates disappearing from the panel restored. Apr 1 - "Request to Remove Character" button removed from character entries (was primarily mistaken for a 'remove favourite' button). - Registration and login page modified to be compatible with mobile. Apr 2 - "Add to My List" no longer appears when you're logged out (was causing confusion for some members). - Forum post indexing restored. Apr 9 - URLs wrapping mid-word fixed. Fixed message history squashing at the same time. - Vertical ranking numbers restored to horizontal. - Board pagination adjustments. Apr 10 - Pagination added for Friends tab on user profiles. - Fixed a bug with "friends since..." disappearing in the process of above. Apr 21 - Improper formatting of emails (next line chars eaten) now adjusted. Apr 22 - Embedded IRC client malfunctioning, now restored. Apr 29 - Searching for "Tiger & Bunny" in the top-right search was eating characters; now fixed. May 7 - Cookies are no longer tied to IPs, correcting all IP-related logout issues. - Cursor is positioned to the username field, without the user having to click on it. - Tab index changed so users can tab from username to password field. May 11 - Inactivity logouts corrected. - Finished date re-enables after changing list status to Completed again. May 18 - Implemented "Top Upcoming" ranking for new anime. --> note: ranking still needs to be adjusted from score to members.[/b] May 24 - Ability for users and moderators to submit additions/edits to the Episodes database implemented. May 26 - Uploading profile pictures frequently resulted in a message saying "your profile picture could not be removed"; issue resolved. May 27 - Large gap in panel for News box (when aligned in the right column) fixed. - List export errors (had to export multiple times to get a good file) now resolved. - Links added to the footer, including Home. May 28 - Disappearing "X of Y people found this review helpful" from profiles, returns. - Top rankings added to MAL's home page and footer (on all pages) when logged out. ^ Not currently visible to users when logged in, but will become an option in the panel in the future. May 31 - Limit on viewing "All Anime/Manga" on user lists increased from 1500 to 3000. - Accepted and Denied messages now sent when adding entries to our Manga DB. |
