| Wow this is getting really interesting with all the religion, folk mythologies, and superstitions. Shikibu really knows what questions to ask, background information such as Kaichi from Chinese mythology, and overall, paying attention to and piecing together the details. As expected from an investigator. Unlike everyone else who had been silenced by the Jinryou family, the old man Shikibu visited is pretty much the first to have such loose lips lol. I doubt he cares much anyways since his life had been dictated by the Jinryou family since he was born, and he's got nothing to lose really. Thanks to him, we learned about the odd and kind of terrible traditions of the family. Anyways, all the information in this chapter was a lot to take in. Shikibu is probably still only barely scratching the surface. |
