I'm looking forward to this, but at the same time, I'm scared they might mess up badly.

I love Major just as much as the next guy. Top 3 sport anime for sure, but I would like to see the rest of Slam Dunk's manga finished more than a sequel to Major. I thought the ending they had was great. I would like more, but it was left off pretty well. At least it was left off better than Slam Dunk was.

I think he is talking about the anime because the Slam Dunk anime did not complete the manga it ended on filler if i'm not mistaken

Well, the manga is accessible, so it's kind of a first world problem to complain about that, haha.

Like Oofuri, Chihayafuru, and many others don't even have updated scanlations and aren't completed. :/

As someone who thinks highly of the Major anime series and its six seasons, I think the series no longer needs another anime. I feel that a bulk of the series has been animated and done well, and the animated media had already ended with closure.

The sequel is a manga not an anime.

The only adaptation I seek is a full adaptation of the World Series Arc, as they reduced it to only 2 episodes as an OVA.

it's my principle to never, ever read sports manga so i wouldn't know. but i actually don't think it was part of the manga.
sighs i wish i'd have never watched that ova. i really didn't like it all that much.

because they have to draw it so overly dramatic to make the ball/racket/etc. look like it's moving and to make the situation interesting that it gets too much for me and makes it boring in return? i don't know hot to explain haha
it's just..even though i love sports anime i just can't stand sports manga.

ahh i see. nah i get you. there's a few exceptions, when the anime messes up the manga's art. like eyeshield 21. that's one of the few sports manga i always prefer over the anime.

baby steps might count too, since the anime art looks bad
