| yessss this was good. so nice to see all the characters again :> shizuo didn't get much screentime this episode, but still great. all these references! and i also loved that they did the ED animation in the same style as the first one. |

| I only recently finished the first season so I don't get nostalgia feels from this. But it's as great as the previous season, I am so glad they kept the same style. New characters and new conflicts incoming. What kind of mess is Izaya planning for this cour I wonder :3 As of now, 10/10 and AOTS. |

The references Walker and the girl made felt forced... I knew all fo the series but felt like that scene had no place in the series, much less the first episode. I know they're trying to show off everyone in their lives, but that still felt forced Anyhow, the upcoming season is what matters, I still look forward to next saturday's episode |

| OMG OMG OMG SO GOOD. Yes!!!!!!! It feels like its the best show of this season already... holy cow... I LOVE Celty. Love her romance with Shinra and love Shinra's family. Haha I love how everyone is scared of Celty, but Celty is scared of that Cop, hilarious!!! Celty's body during that checkup though... Dayum... *nosebleed* LOVE the references in this episode!!! Man those otakus! Man those sisters lesbian yuri relationship innuendo is huge. Can't wait to see them incest yuri!!!! Yay!!! So good to see Izaya and Shizuo again, although this time no "IIIIIIZZAAAAAAYAAAAA" xD Emilia... dayum... Shinra's old man is one lucky bastard. Can't believe my eyes with they said those references out loud... Death Gun lolololol wow... GOD i can't wait for the next episode. It already feels better than S1... the OP is also quite awesome! 5/5. Its awesome. |

| That was solid, but the problem with Durarara was never the characters or episodes like this one so we'll see how things go from here, good episode though, nothing has really changed from last season and that's a good thing so far. |

| Literally the OP couldn't be any better in my opinion, it immediately reminded me of why I loved DRRR!! so much to begin with and was really engaged with it. Felt like no time was lost and had me right back in the action. So excited this is finally getting the squeal it deserves. Something else note worthy is this season is already having a splendid OST and re-introduction of the characters from the get-go. Just completely nailed it with this ep! Missed all the babes from this series. Specifically Celty! ♥ |

| Finally it's back! Gotta love the ED, it gives off the same vibe as the first ED of drrr!! I see a few new characters in the OP, the op is good, in a way that it gives us a brief introduction of the characters and but the transition seems to be a little bit...not so smooth, unlike the one we had in first season. Anyway, the show kicked started with a drrr style and i couldn't be more happy than that! Welcome to ikebukuro <3 |

| I love how they use the same style for the OP and ED (great songs btw) as they did in the first season. Hearing all those old soundtracks just gives me goosebumps. Also a really nice way to start up this anime :D Can't wait for more!! |
| I had the biggest smile on my face watching this...it is so good to be back in Ikebukuro. The OP was spot on with the character introductions, the ED was pretty good, love how they kept the art style from S1. So good to see all of the old characters, even though Masaomi and Shizuo were only there for a few seconds. The new characters are pretty interesting too. Emilia specially cracked me up, glad she's just as wacky as Shinra's dad. |

| A good opening episode, animation has improved and the cast is still as likable as ever, the op has a similar style to the ones before which I liked. 4/5 |

| Oh how I've missed this show, I can't believe it's been over four years. Everyone's as lovable as ever, not a single dull moment, and we aren't even at the good parts yet, this is gonna be a fine season. |
| Well, it has finally started. I couldn't put my finger on it, but I was pretty excited of it to air and I didn't knew why. After all, I don't remember much about Durarara!! and isn't particularly a super big fan of it, but now I get why. It's probably of this hilarious ridiculousness and crazy modern world they live in. Let's just take what Mikado say at the very beginning, he talks about some ''very odd events, yet really ordinary''. From our point of view, that's totally out of question of how crazy these events look, but from it's point of view, he's probably being very honest. Anyway, a good introduction episode for this new season. Don't really know why MAL divided it so complicatedly. I didn't remembered that there was so much top-tier VA in that show : Daisuke Ono, Hiroshi Kamiya, HanaKana, Miyuki Sawashiro and I'm probably missing a lot more. Damn, that's one hell of a casting. The two sisters were hilarious, or rather, the glasses one. Her crazy style remind me Rika from Haganai, but less perverted :P If I'm not wrong, the OVA confirmed us that they are Celty is still being involved in weird shit. That lure was pretty clever, I got lured myself. Poor her, she lost that cash she rightfully earned! I hope she get it back... I'm glad to see those bunch of otaku back. It's even better when you knows about the reference they are making x) The reaction from Namie Yagiri when Izaya told her that her brother relationship with his girlfriend was doing great was so funny. Bitter brocon sister. There's one thing I must say though : Mikado and Anri need to fuck already. Nah, seriously, they look cute together, but if does not progress this season, this will ends up like the super ultra platonic relationship from Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! I don't want that :( Also, was the ending hinting that this season will focus on Kida and Mikajima? The new OP and ED are almost exactly similar in their design to the first season, but I don't mind that. The new song are really good, even if it can't really top the one from the first part of the first season (dem OP/ED...). |
