 It was announced at a press conference in Tokyo that a new animated movie titled Bakemono no Ko will premiere on July 11, 2015. The movie will be directed by Mamoru Hosoda who also created and worked on the movie's script.The upcoming movie will be set in two worlds—a human realm and a bakemono realm. The story follows a young boy and a bakemono (supernatural creature) named Kyuta. According to the movie poster, the tagline will be a "new action flick."
