| I'm curious what people think of this. Are people happy because our population is already way too high? Are people worried Japanese people will go extinct? IMO it's extremely unlikely to happen any time soon btw. Do you think it's gonna affect the industries in Japan in any major way? Particularly the anime industry as this is an anime forum? What could be the major causes of this? Have Japanese people just lost their libido? Or perhaps become so career orientated they no longer have time to settle down and raise children? Who is going to pay for the healthcare of the aging Japanese population? Are there people that really think dating sims and porn are replacing the need for relationships in Japan? (I find this absurd btw). So yeah what do people think? Do people really even care? Thoughts, opinions, discuss! |

| I'm assuming Japan will simply be improving their assistive technologies to help the elderly. Also, the Japanese in their 60-80s are probably much healthier than other places of the world anyway, so in that sense, it's not as much of a burden as people like to believe. I find it hilarious about the random as hell stats on otaku/NEETs in Japan though. I'm too lazy to search it myself, but it can't be more than 10%. |
