| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Poor Amon. Losing a partner isn't easy...:( I feel bad for him now. Good to see Itori back again with Kaneki this episode. He sure could use a bit of enthusiasm boost. This was a slow episode but there are some back stories like with Touka. Feels like it's developing into something more though. Anyways, Dove will probably respond to this soon.. I sense a battle coming.  |

YES! Juuzo is there! for those who are wondering... it is a guy and now her little bro... ayato... next arc incomin' hmm... i thought banjou would have black hair... oh well o_o now i seriously doubt they are giong to cram aogiri arc into like 3-4 episodes o_o |

| This ep gave me really mixed feelings XD It had amazing pacing and was perfect as a build up. But it makes me think they're not gonna be adapting Aogiri Tree arc anymore. (I guess this might be for the best seeing as how it would be butchered <_<) I can see this only reaching the part where Ken's hair goes white and stop with a cliffhanger saying "Read the manga bitches" XD Akira's cameo was :O and Suzuya too XD Was I imagining things or Suzuya was being VA'd by KugiRie? Also nice to see Arima animated. He looks quite different from the manga ^^; Seeing Touka's flashbacks with Ayato and Arata (Dad) was nice. Loli Touka is KAWAII <3 And seeing Ayato being a soft scaredy cat as a kid and what he became now was quite cool. Hide overhearing Jason was also quite the scene. And seeing Banjou was fun too ^^ But really all DAT build up with how everyone wants to meet Rize was goosebump inducing XD So yeah if I looked at it as a standalone ep, it was amazing but if I look at it from the perspective of "How the hell are they gonna do the rest" then I have no idea what to think XD The music this episode was amazing too. |

| Because of manga, I got goosebumps when I saw Arima.. o.o Everything is going so fast.. I hope that they show chapters 60-70 in anime, that would be very interesting. :3 Poor Amon... ;c |

| I'm not sure if I like the idea of a war now. One of the 2 Ghoul killing characters are dead, so I don't care about that. Ghouls fighting among each other other could be a good development, but I think they could have given Touka some more conflict without turning her brother on her. It will be really interesting to hear what the fudge Rize did to make everyone in 11th hate her tough! |

| That swearing bird is so funny. But wow... brother and sister relationship problems incoming i'm guessing. For some reason Ayato looks older than his elder sister. Like by alot. Dang though. War incoming. Oh boy. Jason, investigators, Ghouls. All out war and Rize is right in the middle of it. Kaneki. Poor Kaneki. |

| mmm!!! interesting! abit.. it was a okay episode (there wasnt much of important things besides backstory (i think kaneki is the person with less background story in the anime when i think about it) ),the ending felt like it was foreshadowing a bunch of events that will probably only fit in a 2nd season. but..what could happen in 2 episodes? its hard to say goodbye i didn't even get to see white haired kaneki and i don't even know when that is going happen.. well its a sad moment.. |
| It's nice to see how Amon and Mado met. Arima seems pretty cool. There's also this girl who visited Mado's grave and this guy who stole Kaneki's wallet. Hopefully they'll be introduced soon. Itori and Hide appear again. Itori's fun as always, while Hide is freakin' too good at analyzing. I sense a war coming to the 20th Ward. Jason's after Rize. Banjo's after Rize. Heck, even Ayato's after Rize. Kaneki has to be careful. Shit's about to go down. |

| Entertaining and great episode for me as manga reader. Although probably not for others. Like I said before I don't care anymore if they cover 18 chapters in one episode like now. I just love to see at least fraction of manga animated. |

I don't know how it stands now but numbers for it are supposedly very low. I doubt there would be any sequel, take it as promo series to manga. Rize background won't be resolved in this part. |

I mean sure, they could dramatically slow down the pacing and add some filler here and there, and make a second season that way. But it's totally counterproductive, since they already rushed this cour and gave the manga sales a huge boost. There's also the fact that leaving things uncompleted could result into an even bigger boost in manga sales. So their mission is accomplished. You are right, this is very likely to happen. It's such a shame though because it would be awesome if the next chapters were adapted imo. |
