I'm not a US citizen, but I still think it would be wise for the US to aid certain parties when they can. The problem with intervention comes when they are more focused on their profit (oil really has the world by the balls), rather than the welfare of the people. As for the treatment of the terrorists, that is a whole other issue to itself. Kill them cleanly and they become martyrs and even more emboldened. Sometimes weakening morale is more effective than simply taking lives. |
