| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh boy... Competition continues and it looks like it's Miyuki's turn. Not as decent as last week's episode but we do see Miyuki compete in the Mirage Bat contest. That contest felt way too fast though. I see Miyuki practiced her flight magic well.. |

| The competition still continues. Everyone's shocked about just announced floating/flying magic. He made sure not to make the same mistake like last time ("the accident"). |

| Obviously it couldn't live up to the epicness of last week's episode but we got a solid continuation of the competition. More Tatsuya pulling out the stops and still wowing/raging on people. That's about the angriest that we've seen him so far (and the most he has embraced the wincest so far). And Miyuki doin' work for herself too and not just chanting Onii-sama from the sidelines. She's channeling her inner R. Kelly in this one and "believing she can fly". |

| You do not want to make Oniisama angry. When you anger Oniisama, you are in for a lot of hurt. He might just develop a magic to shoot out lasers on those eyes. Openly flirting like that. All that jelly from those guys. Oh sure, use a extremely new magic just to widen the gap of the score. It might be tactics but it's kind of underhanded. Especially when the developer of that magic is related to you and you had time to use it before as test subject #2. Sasuga Miyuki. Asking for anything. You can clearly see what Miyuki wants but obviously that's not gonna happen and just settled for taking a nap with Oniisama beside her. To the doujins! Glad they showed that part of Yanagi and Sanada handling that Generator. Though Yanagi's throw was totally overboard. That Generator had the worst luck of encountering him and the 101 crew. If it was a normal person there would have been brains splattered everywhere. Probably 2 more episodes give or take for this arc. Then Yokohama arc butcher here we come. I'm probably gonna deny that there was a Yokohama arc anime adaptation when it comes, just like how I'm denying that there's a Yokohama manga adaptation with an atrocious art. |

| This anime's been great recently with the fighting and suspense, with animation being one of the better ones I've seen. It's just really the characters, the humor, and the harem/incest hints that kinda ruin it. Nonetheless, the anime seems to have been solid the past few episodes. |
| Lol looks like this anime is only gonna go up to around the student council elections huh. I thought it would be up to the thesis comp but oh well at least it wasn't too badly rushed. Good episode not up to last episode but whatever. Next episode Tatsuya begins his work |

| It seems that everyone in Tatsuya's former armed unit is as OP and badass as he is. I thought the terrorist who was going to infiltrate the place was going to cause more damage, but just 2 of those guys took him out easily. For a moment I thought that when Tatsuya asked Miyuki what she wanted, she was going to answer "a child". Shame we didn't see the defeated guys from the last episode licking their wounds. It would have been pretty satisfying. |

| An okay episode, though I guess not every episode can be as action-packed as the last. Tatsuya's eyes were definitely the most appealing part of the episode and I'm looking forward to seeing what else will be uncovered next episode. Also that whole "only natural part" of him part, although I ended up reading some spoilers, I'm still interested in seeing the actual reveal and getting the full story. Merp, I kind of want to see a scene with Masaki recovering and then interacting with Tatsuya somehow, whether it's some sort of congratulations or apology, idk. Just want to see some more of him~ |

| Wow, I just laughed when he instantly saw that spark came out on Miyuki's phone and set that guy down the ground. His eyes looked look so freaking deadly when looking at him. Yeah you don't want to piss him off if Miyuki was hurt. Miyuki flying in the Marage bat was pretty amusing in a sort of way, everyone was surprised on how she would do that. I don't really mind about the incest parts, it just give a good laugh, and sometimes facepalm myself. |

| I hope a more powerful opponent appears, like if they outsource one of the best magicians to enter the competition, under a disguise. either way, it doesn't look like oniisama will be defeated anytime soon |

| A lot of the things in this show doesn't make sense and the whole idea of concealing/laying low for Tatsuya is just thrown out the door. With that being said, it's not a bad show, just not very good either. |

| Tatsuya got really mad at that guy, wonder what would have happened if they didn't stop him. What the hell happened to those two guys from the other school, I can't believed they just disappear after losing last time. I guess it was kind of cheating for Miyuki to be the only one to have the flying magic, but it still didn't help those girls at the end. Not fair that Shizuku has not showed up lately. |

| You know this adaptation all throughout has been for me all but disappointing but most of all this whole school competition arc i feel they have never once captured or done one of the events properly they have really felt quite lifeless and it feels like the studio just really did not know how they should do them. The Monolith Code event was probably the best done but even the final felt kind of lacking though it was definitely one of the best episodes so far. The animation has been a let down as well and they seemed to cut corners as much as possible with characters looking like ass many a time and the whole Mirage Bat event looking uninteresting and failing to capture it properly. You would of thought that the final would of looked rather impressive with a whole group of female magic users dancing through the air it is meant to be the most beautiful event in the whole competition but all we got were close ups and extreme long shots that both required as little effort as possible. I looked forward to the nine schools competition quite a bit but they really just have not captured it properly. |

If it's not directly banned from being used, it's not wrong to use it, per se. Any other school could've gotten ahold of the magic already, if they had the right connections and influence, but either they couldn't or they didn't. What's interesting is that noone connected the magic with Tatsuya, since he's the engineer. Then again, consider this entire tournament a way to strike fear into the entire magician community of the Shiba siblings, because they're awesome and got the best sequences & skills possible. |

Let's say they wrap up the 9SC in the next episode and even start the Yokohama arc halfway through... that'll leave only 6.5 episode to cover the longest, best arc of the series??? NO WAY!!!
