| =) I really like how the other team members step in to help alter the mood and stuff. And Mihashi's little dance on the mound was cute -- but not as cute as his "I wanna bat" blinking fest in ep 18 -- I really like the personality he's developing. =) =) =) |

| ohman i loved this episode!!!! i really hope mihashi can pull through!!! i loved his little dancing thing on the mound. i was so upset when he slipped though ohman, some really great abe and mihashi moments . i love them!!! oh the whole "ren ren" bit was so adorable. |

Ookamihime said: IMO, the game so far for Mihashi has been really trying hard to not let his teammates, and especially Abe, down. He's rapidly approaching his limit, but he won't say anything for this reason. That shower scene (it sounds dirty XD) really told me that this whole game so far has been for the sake of his team, even if he still really enjoys what he's doing. He was so close to collapsing, as Abe showed us, but the second his cousin said that his old team had succeeded it became a lot more personal for him. In this way he was able to draw from a new source of strength for his own pride, which is something even Abe couldn't do for him. Ahh, character development for Mihashi is spot on. If only he'd get a little more assertive and secure now! This.That moment when Ren's cousin came in to tell him that Mihoshi won was perfect for giving him some strength.It's like he was thinking to himself that if Kanou and his former teammates that he beat in that practice match managed to plll through then he has to manage something as well.I was kinda thinking that it might have deflated him but it seems like it will give him the right amount of tenacity to continue pitching to the end. |
