| I always considered this one pretty mediocre. For example, I don't remember even a single piece of music, which is pretty strange considering that it's a Ghibli movie. There just isn't that much going on to keep me invested in the story or the characters. A little girl explores a city and gains responsibility by beginning a business. There was never any conflict or high stakes as far as I can remember, so I couldn't care less when her powers go missing at a certain point. It certainly isn't a bad movie and it doesn't have any serious flaws, but it doesn't have anything that stands out either. A 'no' vote from me at the moment, but I'm sure there are quite a few people in the club who will defend this anime with a burning passion. Please do. |

| One of my favorite of Miyazaki's films. An absolute joy to watch. Kiki is a fantastic character and the story kept me intrigued all the way through. There's some absolutely wonderful and memorable scenes in here too. 9/10. |
