| 5 main aspects I base my ratings on: 1. Did DramaEnthusiast make a thread about it? 2. Is it better than Breaking Bad? 3. Did MellowJello recommend the shit out of it? 4. Has it caused a (very entertaining) shitstorm on MAL? 5. Is it actually good? Scratch the fifth point, it's not very relevant... |

| I don't even agree with the top 20 really (and this isn't even Gintama related), but I've never gone through the first 100 to see my entire opinion on it. I assume based on the top 30-40 alone there's lots of movies and sequels to things I probably haven't seen though. No I don't use it to determine what I'll watch, I generally look at my friends stats and other people's lists/opinions on here I respect and secretly stalk to determine the quality of a show. |

| Nothing really. I never care for rankings most of the time, not anymore at least. And especially not in a western fansite like MAL. I don't use them as in indicator of any sort of quality, especially not when stuff like (Fairy Tail, Rainbow, Clannad, Kill la Kill, Ano hana, One Piece, Gintama, Steins Gate movie, Haruhi's movie, Chihayafruru 2, Hellsing ultimate, SnK, TTGL, FMA:B,) are in it. |

| Haven't seen most of the top 100 but that's because my taste is too different from general opinion. Most of the time I can see why people would enjoy the shows up there, but a lot of them don't do it for me. |

| You can disagree with some. But if you do with most you should look in the mirror very closely fast. I acknowledge most anime though. Even those who i rated a 7. It's like i can see it has quality but while watching for me it felt a 7. Still does not mean i think it does not deserve it's place on this high rating. MAL is the biggest internet rating site after all. All people should look in the mirror before they judge a anime in the top 30 since humanity is not more crazy than the disliker. |

| I enjoyed quite a few series on that list so I'm fine with it. Though quite a few anime there are movies/sequels/OVAs of existing anime on that list so you've got around 50-70 different series there. That is true, and I would say that most, if not all, of the top 100 anime are at least above average, however, airing shows do tend to sometimes quickly make it to the top 100, mainly due to popularity/hype. |

| If you disregard the inherent bias of the bump in ratings sequels get for weeding out many of the people who didn't like season 1, it's a solid list. Nothing perfect, but no "top 100 ____" list ever is. Think of it as a litmus of good anime. The grand majority of what is in there is very good stuff... with some exceptions... seriously guys, Rainbow? Are you kidding? |

| I don't really mind them in particular. I haven't seen half of them so I shouldn't get mad about the ranking anyways. Although I think Bleach should be there. I can see why it's not there. It's just my opinion and of course a lot of people disagree, but it's just what I think. |
