Episode 3 We get a change of pace from the "so relaxed and sickeningly sweet" to logically explain the situation and bring doubt into the picture, which makes me wonder if Shogo's gone through something similar. In the end, he turns out to be a bro again: "But there's something wrong with people who talk trash and laugh behind another's back, too" |

Episode 3 Shogo is such a bro. I don't know if I'm in a particularly good/receptive mood today but this is already the second show today where episode 3 made me switch from "this is pretty good" to "I really love this!". I found myself enjoying this immensely and I just hope it continues like that. Shogo really gives the show a nice dose of 'anti fluff', if you know what I mean. |

Ep 3 Nice to know everyone's taken a liking to Shogo :). Yeah I was a little apprehensive against him at first but warmed up to him quickly as well. Definitely a welcome inclusion to the cast. |

Ep. 1-3 I had no idea what this show was about and the first episode made me extremely sad so I wasn't sure if I was going to keep watching. I decided to give it at least 3 episodes top and I don't regret my decision at all! I usually love shows like this with a slow pacing and quiet atmosphere, but I was worried Fujimiya's secret would make it either too heavy to watch, or worse... that the plot device were used for comedic purposes. I'm glad things turned out different! I find the optimistic approach quite nice and it makes this slow-paced show more entertaining. after episode 3, I felt like there was a definite change in Fujimiya thanks to Kiryuu and they seem to be getting along now. Now I'm curious about whether Kiryuu will be forgotten like Hase if he becomes friend with Fujimiya. Since she remembers him as not her friend, how would this work? Can't wait to see more! |

Ep 4 Liked this even more than the manga Great stuff, I'm not a fan of Hase's jealousy though. |

Episode 4 This episode evoked a bunch of different emotions for me. I can udnerstand Hase getting jealous considering statements like 'We can't be seen leaving school together, only if Kiryu is with us', but at the same time it annoyed me because he was obviously too hung up on it. Sometimes it's better to take the emo route instead of addressing every feeling you have all the time. Shougo did realtalk the episode out of being annoying for too long though and the end turned out really nice. Overall another enjoyable episode for sure. |

Episode 4 Yeah, Hase's jealousy made me angry. The poor girl has a hard enough time making one friend and Hase is going to make her feel bad for wanting another? It was pretty selfish and inconsiderate to say the least. Fortunately, he realized almost immediately how much of an ass he was and he made up for it in the end. I'm liking Shougo more and more each episode. Great episode. |

I'm liking Shougo more and more each episode. Great episode. Well, to be fair he wasn't mad because she wanted another friend, he was made because he got the feeling that he doesn't matter to her, or only matters because he was her only friend so far, but not as a person. I found it pretty harsh/mean of her when she basically said she doesn't want to be seen with him unless Shougo is with them. I didn't understand why and that was the one thing that made me take pity with Hase. He overreacted and didn't try to read into it, but still that must've stung him. |

Episode 4 I like the drama in this episode, but it's actually almost silly when you consider how 'childish' these characters are. I'm not saying they're bad characters, though I am saying that Hase and that girl (my bad, forgot her name) are getting hung up over nothing. I guess that is to be expected considering they're in highschool and have very few other issues in life. Their personalities do bring innocence to the show which is a plus because it makes the show more light-hearted. I'm childish myself so maybe I'm actually being a hypocrite. |

@Higashi Yeah, I know, but its just one of those situations that the guy needs to look at with maturity. Though, they are high schoolers, so it is understandable. I was borderline furious that he made her cry. Not sure why I feel so attached to her, but apparently I do :P. ar2000 said: Episode 4 I like the drama in this episode, but it's actually almost silly when you consider how 'childish' these characters are. Oh, absolutely childish, but some of the ridiculous high school drama I recall was even more childish than this. One of the things I definitely don't miss from my younger days :P. |

Ep. 4 I wasn't a big fan of the development in this episode because it all worked so horribly against Hase until about the end and to me it felt like a lot of the improvement Fujimiya had done was reversed ): I hated Hase's jealousy but I also understand that he has feelings for Fujimiya and she was cruel to him when she said she didn't want to be seen with him unless Kiryuu was there. In the end both were kind of mean to each other, but this made them closer, I'm sure. The end of the episode redeemed it for me haha I just dislike drama;; |

Episode 5 Oh god, everything is looking way too good right now, soon something horrible will happen, everyone will die and I will cry :( But yeah, I also needed some warming up to Yamagishi but so far she's made everything better until what I mentioned above will happen. Enjoyable episode overall! |

Episode 5 Well thanks Higashi, now I'm going to be freaking out every episode hoping these characters don't die, haha. I really liked Yamagishi from the beginning. I loved her voice for some reason. I thought I had heard it before, but I didn't recognize her voice actress, so who knows. Liked the episode quite a bit. Yamagishi has a memory like mine :). |

Ep 5 Yeah I needed some warming up to Yamagishi too. It was just the thought that she had other malicious intentions that had me worried. The manga doesn't go past this point so the rest of the show will be new to me as well. Looking forward to it. |

My bad, the episode covers chapter 8, the manga progressed since I last read lol. It's on chapter 16, atm idk if the translations are fully caught up yet. |

Ep. 5 I really liked the pacing in this episode and I was a little wary with Yamagishi at first, but I'm happy her intentions seem good and it's nice that Fujimiya has learned to recognize Hase even though she seems to still forget about him. I hope they maintain this heartwarming development ;~; I don't have this unreal expectation of Fujimiya magically getting over her condition, but I think it would be great if she's able to live a happy life despite the limitations of her condition. |

Episode 6 Her mom was funny to watch and a nice person and it was overall another sweet episode. Not much to add except is it just me or are they hinting at Shougo developing feelings for Fujimiya? |

Episode 6 Saki forgetting her phone and then forgetting the room location is the type of memory I have :P. My short term memory is really shit even though my long term is excellent. I really enjoy her character. Kaori's mom is a nice person indeed. I suspected Kaori's memory loss had to do with some sort of psychological trauma as opposed to physical trauma. Though, she did get hit by a car which caused the initial loss of memory, so I guess it was a bit of both. |

Episode 7 More 'awww' moments this episode and more of shougo spitting the truth too. "You're a real wimp." or "Why are you always so negative?" were spot on. The ending was really promising and things are looking good for Fujimiya and Hase. I'm really anxious because I'm not sure if this is the kind of feelgood show whose drama won't go beyond what we've already experienced, or if it is just saving the depressing stuff for later. IT PAINS ME NOT KNOWING. xD |

Triple Threat Episode 5 I wasn't fond of the new character at first, but she's alright now that I know her a bit better. Hase is actually pretty creepy with his stalking, but that's not reason for me to dislike him. Episode 6 I like the developments with Fujimiya that happened in this episode. We got some info about her condition, but I'm surprised I don't care. I think it's best not to explain thing like that until the end of the show. Episode 7 I thought this was a great episode, or at least more eventful than the other ones. There's a nice amount of character development with Fujimiya not forgetting Hase at the end. Yay. Also I really like the ED music. It's actually probably one of my favorites this season. |

Episode 7 I'm glad to see Fujimiya getting along with more people, it's amazing how quickly things have developed for her character, though I hope all this happiness doesn't mean something terrible will happen later that makes her revert to her initial attitude. I think Hase has matured a bit because he doesn't seem as jealous anymore and he's become more honest as well. I hope things stay in this really happy and cheerful note. |

Ep 7 Yep definitely enjoying Fujimiya developing quickly and making more friends. I guess Hase feels like hes being left out now though. |

Episode 8 Master Sandfrog Builder Kaori. Brogo just hits the goddamn jackpot with ease. These sunset shots are really pretty. And then, the piano comes in to slowly build up to the fireworks climax. Wtf this starry night sky…Y SO BEAUTY? A new challenger appears! Definitely the best beach episode I've seen in a while. |

Episode 8 Beautiful episode as you guys said. This Season brains Base is really great, with Isshuukan Friends and Bokura wa Minna it has restored my faith in them that began to waver after Amnesia, Sengoku Collection and Blood Lad. They really are best off doing these kinds of shows. |

Episode 8 This is such a warm and relaxing show right now. I really liked the episode yet again. I'm glad they didn't do a fan service type beach episode. This series is such a good complement to rest of the shows I am watching this season. I save it for last when I'm catching up on shows to end on a relaxing and heart-warming note :P. I'm also really fond of the VAs in this series. Soothing and very chill. The character design is nice too. In the beginning I was hoping for some drama and maybe even some tragedy, but now I just hope it stays happy and any incoming conflict stays fairly minor. I'm down for more Kaori x Yuuki moments like the end of this episode. @Higashi - Agreed. I'm quite enjoying Bokura Minna as well. I also really disliked Blood Lad (dropped) and Amnesia (aside from the art which was excellent). I didn't check out Sengoku Collection. |

Episode 8 Lovely episode! I see the romance seems to be more palpable now, though I really hope things stay lighthearted. I'm really curious about the new character and how he will change around the dynamics in the group. I really hope this new development sheds some light about Kaori's past and what created her condition. |

Episode 9 I like how the solving bit was carried throughout the first half and as hinted in earlier episodes, Brogo had, indeed, tried helping out someone who was similarly forgetful. Maybe we'll be getting some answers about Fujimiya's memory problem soon, with the introduction of Hajime. |

Episode 6: You all said it already, but KAORI'S MUM <3 Episode 7: I seriously love how real Shougo is. xD No fucking nonsense for/from him. I too greatly want to know whether we'll be in for heartbreak later or if things will stay fairly light and cute with a bit of plot!drama. (Not enough to look up spoilers though xD That'd ruin it of course. Still, it is worrying not knowing lol.) AND I'M WORRIED ABOUT THE NUMBER OF COMMENTS EPISODE 8 HAS SO I GUESS I NEED TO WATCH THAT RIGHT NOW XD Episode 8: Ok, that wasn't anything like what I'd feared xD One of the best beach episodes I've seen. Guessing this new kid has something to do with why Fujiiya ran into the road that time. Also I was kind of hoping they'd actually be friends instead of real love interests, but I guess romance was kind of inevitable after all. Oh well ^^ |

Episode 9: So the boy is Fujimiya's old friend, to absolutely no-one's surprise I'm sure, but he seems to be behaving like an awful dick considering it's been years since he probably got "betrayed" (I'm assuming the promise was to meet over something?). The last few episodes have their shape now I think - should be a nice ride if possibly frustrating :3 Also can we talk about how Shougo and Saki-chan are fucking adorable |

Episode 9 Yes, yes, Shougo x Saki ftw!! Awesome moments between them this episode. It made me forget about the other characters and just want to watch those two some more. So, this is the type of conflict they are using for the end game. Fine by me. I'd rather have this than a truly tragic conflict. |

Episode 9 I'd been seeing some Kiryuu x Saki hints in their interactions, but the scene in this episode was downright adorable! I have a weak spot for this kind of pairing (tall, quiet boy x short, goofy girl) so I HOPE THEY GET MORE SCREENTIME. I got pissed with Fujimiya's regression, but it makes sense that this would happen. I just hope this series has a closed ending. I'd be disappointed if things don't get solved in the end. |

Episode 10 I liked how the clouds' shadow falls upon Hase and Kaori as she started talking about Hajime, but the sun came out after crepes came up. Hase definitely still has resolve, but it might be an uphill struggle to get back on track with Kaori as she sits in her unlit room and Hase walks down the road with the street light flickering out. |

Ep 10 [spoiler] More Brogo x Saki moments are greatly appreciated. Seems like the show is heading for a pretty dramatic turn. I'm pretty sure the manga goes farther, but it hasn't been translated past this point so everything coming will be new to me too. Looking forward to how things go down with Kujo. |

Episode 10: I came in here ready to wax lyrical about the use of lighting in this episode, but brian already beat me to it XD Hajime is a serious dick though. Really. Or maybe he can't accept that Kaori has a genuine problem, which isn't quite as bad but is still dickish. I love the name Brogo btw. Nicking it. |

Episode 10 [spoiler] My trinity of agreeing: I agree with brian that the use of light was well done this episode. I agree with battosai that more Brogo x Saki moments are extremely welcome (Seriously, I want more). I agree with Sandy that Hajime is a huge dick. I was unsure until the end because he didn't know about her memory loss issues, but he was even more of an asshole once he knew so that confirms it for me. |

Episode 11 So, the flickering street light was signaling the reveal of the source of her trauma. On another note, Hase messing with Hajime at the restaurant was amusing. "But is that really the right thing to do? Seeing Kujo made me realize that my situation isn't so different." Initially, Hase was acting out of his own selfish happiness, which explains his self doubt. In fear of hurting her, he unintentionally hurts her by becoming distant much like Naomi did in the past. I can see this resolution coinciding with Brogo and Saki getting back together on good terms again. "When you make someone mad, you have to apologize!" What separates Hajime and Naomi from Hase is that they never apologized. Hase still has a chance though. Friends fight and friends will make up. If you can still make it through all that, then you have something special. |

Episode 11 Hase aggravates the shit out of me. Even now that he is trying not to hurt her, his selfishness doesn't even allow him to see how sad he is making her. If it was me, I would totally be stuck in the "friend zone" with Fujimiya. I'd have no choice as I can not stand seeing her sad. I'd constantly be trying to make her laugh and keep the atmosphere fun, as opposed to "real," romantic, or "deep." Shougo and Saki need to make up as well. I enjoy their relationship better than our main's because of Hase. |

Episode 11 [spoiler] Fully in agreement with Yoshi here about Hase. I didn't like this episode very much. He's back to being emo and making everyone including himself feel uncomfortable. And it's not even that he tries to move the relationship to the next level, he just seems to finally gotten too scared of Kaori seeing how overly vulnerable and mentally unstable she is (to be honest I expected a much more devastating trauma to be responsible for the heavy consequences for her memory. What was revealed this episode was actually fairly normal for children, imo.). Not like he didn't know that from the start, but he seems to go through these emo phases every 4 episodes or so. The issue I have with it that it's always the same basic problem, but he only ever overcomes it until the next trigger resets it all. It feels like Hase's 'memory' is reset frequently as well, just on another level... |
