Man...when this is all said and done, I might just watch the entire five seasons of Major again. This show is just an amazing rollercoaster ride. And Junior hit the foul poul...meaning home run. Japan loses. :( |
| Senior gets struck in the chest with a broken barrel of a bat and continues on. Goro still manages to crack 100mph in his 9th inning pitching. Junior shatters his bat, but still hits a homerun. The insanity. But it was sooo much fun to watch. Excellent episode. So 2 Gibsons > 1 Honda? |

| Hell yes America won!! Couldn't help, but root for them in this episode ;P Gibson is such a beast. Seriously. Getting hit where he's most weak and refusing to back down. Plus the last few minutes were so intense! Nothing left to say, but great game~! |

| Lots of breaking bats... and that hit in the chest looks really painful. But that was an exciting game although Japan definitely lose. Love that slow mo at the end.. |
| Maybe I'm at fault for marathon-ing this show way too quickly, but it's starting to get really repetitive>_> When the bat broke for like the millionth time I just groaned. Still a good episode though, it's amazing how much my opinion of Joe Gibson has evolved over the seasons - hated him at first, but he has turned into one of the show's best characters. |
| Shit! Welp, that's gg, but I have this slight fear that Goro is going to take this loss super hard and not be able to play at full strength anymore. It's happened before and I am pretty sure that the fact this happened again right before entering a new season means it will happen again. I guess this makes up for the Minor League Championship, where when the bat broke the ball was popped up, now instead it has enough power to be a home-run. |

| NOOOOO! I can't believe Japan lost, I didn't see that coming... I'm so disappointed right now, I can't say USA didn't deserve to be the champion but somehow... It didn't feel right to me, the winner of the match shouldn't have been Gibson JR, this feels so wrong. Why didn't Gorou pitch a forkball against Junior at least for once, he had worked so hard on it. God damn I can't accept this result. :( Hopefully, Gorou won't assume full responsibility for losing. I'm afraid to watch the next episode. |

| i don't really know much about baseball but that's a home run, isn't it? or at the very least, a fair ball. oh, and goro's pitch must have been faster than 100mph since his last one didn't break the bat. |

| Gibson taking the bat to the heart and still managing to get the out and prevent the run was just beast. When he collapsed almost cried only thinking god I hope he ain't died. No Goro vs Gibson face off which I'm so pissed off about but goddamn this was a great episode. Also Japan lost?The ball hit the yellow thing so didn't know if that was considered in play or a foul I guess it was a homerun then according to the comments above. |

| Just an amazing episode! Gibson is a friggin God and seems like someone you should not mess with. The HR at the end.. UGH! I wanted Japan to take the win, too. Good to see Gibson Jr. to be the one to get the HR, though. |
| Don't know about you guys but I was fine with Goro losing from time to time, makes it realistic and tells the fans "you will inevitably lose even at your current best from time to time, the real challenge is standing back up" Still that doesn't mean Goro delivering the losing pitch didn't feel sad, cause that broke me, and that pitch was his fastest yet, the creator of this is something else, give him his biggest rival, his fastest throw, his prev motivation and have him lose. Thats messed up. |

| i was expected for something to happen with toshi batting but i didn't expect the broken bat to hit gibson. baseball is a cruel game that while the pitcher got hurt the opponent team can do what their want to score. i wouldn't mind goro lose like this, he has been great in the game, but since there's more 2 episodes, everything is possible in major, i just hope they will do it realistic and not goro-super-win... |
| I gasped for air when that broken bat hit Gibson's chest (luckily not the broken side) but still a tad too overdramatic. Incredible match with another broken bat for a cliffhanger, I think they should search a different manufacturer for those faulty bats. |
