| EPIC EPISODE! Have to mention the AMAZING BGM as well ... LOVE the focus on Kise! It'd be amazing if there was some more, but I guess they can't show that much :') Ah, I'd love to see more of their middle school days :P Especially loved it when Aomine said he couldn't go easy on him even though he was new ... Seems like both teams are quite evenly matched. Aomine gets stronger as the game goes on ... but what about Kise? Hmm ... seems like he's got a plan that he wants to be put into action! :O Seriously though some of these things are still kind of WTF XD Like OMG YOU JUMPED TWO SECONDS BEFORE ME BUT I CAN STILL CATCH YOU HAHA XD Or them being tied at the end of the second ... they played 9 minutes without anyone scoring?! Wtf lol ;P Though it seems like Aomine's stronger right now it seems like Kise's just getting fired up. The preview ... he's given up on looking up to Aomine?! :O This should be really interesting! |

| I thought Touou would curbstomp Kaijo from the very beginning. I guess they've really improved. Honestly though, I wanted the training camp to last longer. Kurobasu: slice of life has a very cute feel to it. |

| Kise mastered sports too quickly and was bored,until he met Aomine and got interested in basketball. Kise stopped one of Aomine's shots. Kasamatsu is a pretty good leader.And lol'd at Hayakawa talking,this speech was even harder to understand in the manga. Intense game and it' only just begone.Things are going to get serious next episode. |

| Lol Kasamatsu and Hyuuga are a bit alike with their tempers. Hayakawa's speech pattern wasn't as put out there as in the manga. I like Kasamatsu's knee socks... Pfft Wakamatsu can be pretty loud like Hayakawa~ "Uchi no Kise" ehe. Very cute end card! -Shuda- said: Also, this is so random but I loved seeing Aomine and Satsuki walking home together LoL. They are a pair that needs to be emphasized more by the author. From the light novel here: “Satsuki… Could it be…” Her eyes sparkled. “You already have someone whom you like?” “Ah!?” Briefly, Momoi’s cheeks flushed red. Of course, this did not escape Izumi’s eyes. She firmly hugged Momoi’s shoulders, wearing a proud expression as if saying ‘Hmph, I found it out!’. “Oh, oh, no wonder! Who is that person!? Aomine-kun!?” “Of course not! That guy is merely a childhood friend! It’s because he can be too unruly, so I have to keep an eye on him… There’s absolutely no other reason!” It goes on to show Momoi watching Kuroko and about her feelings for him. I'm sure there are Momoi-Aomine moments in the light novel too, haven't read it yet! |

| Thought some of the animation was a bit off in this ep, it distracted me during the game which was a shame. Also thought it strange that Kise was stronger than the "unbeatable" Aomine in the first quarter, it seemed like a bit of a stretch for Kise to be that good when Aomine otherwise destroys everyone. But overall a good episode, it was nice to get to know a bit more about Kise and Aomine's past, and the game looks like it will be getting serious in the next ep :D Aomine seriously needs putting in his place before that ego gets any bigger ;) |
| Cool game. Kise was pretty good against Aomine but I'm not sure he can beat him. Aomine got skills and game. Kise was hot as ever. Nice flashback to see why he joined the basketball team. Aomine is hot too. |

And Aomine was the one who motivated or convinced Kise to become a basketball player because it's like Kise managed to master every sports he decides to play then he came across with Aomine. Kaijo lead the first quarter, but Touou managed to tied with them the moment second quarter started. Idk who's gonna win in this match anymore. Jesus. |

| Watching this episode again gave me the feels. <33 It was such a pleasure to see Kise and Aomine's first meeting and that Aomine was the person who led Kise to want to try basketball. :)) It's true that Aomine and Kise know each other very well on the court... ;___; There were funny moments too, like when Aomine called Imayoshi "evil glasses guy" and the look on Sakurai's face when Kise copied him! XDD |

| i thought it would be stupid for kise for not making something special against ahomine. it's actually wen well to see other teams playing each other and not seirin all the time, i thought i would be boring without kagami/kuroko but it actually pretty fun and intense. and that flashback on the start of the episode really made me like kise more before the game. |
| Was actually not as interesting as I thought it would be. Also Kise winning this would be really surprising. |
